Many similar patterns.
I like big yarn and some of the ideas, but most of the patterns are similar to each other which kind of stinks. But I do look forward to creating a few of these patterns. Hope these photos help someone else in their decision to purchase, I wish someone else had done it before I purchased.

I loved it - and think a lot of the poor reviews are unwarranted
The designs are very creative and unusual - which a lot of reviewers obviously found too 'out there' for their taste, but the instructions are very clear, the knitting tips alone are worth the cost of the book, and I loved her additional fashion tips. The criticisms that instructions are unclear or incomplete or unfounded. Eg - ref the sequined throw over wrap "Are you supposed to seam this or is it a shawl?" It's supposed to be knitted in the round on circular needles so a seam wouldn't be required. The "long" tail is only six inches, not six foot, so is obviously meant to be woven in when finishing. And the instructions for picking up stitches to make the poncho work exactly as she instructs in the book.I've also not seen any of the patterns anywhere else - and even if I had seen one or two, it's so convenient having them all in one place. It's a very well thought-out, informative, instructive and inspiring book and I (an ambitious but not very experienced knitter) am thoroughly enjoying making the items. The thick needles take a bit of getting used to - I keep hitting the dog in the face by accident - but otherwise? Five stars definitely.

I love the cover pattern
I love the cover pattern, but most of the inside ones are disappointing. Not that different from what else is out there, and more smaller items (hats, scarves) than I was expecting.

Great book and a great seller
Not really what I was expecting but a good book overall with some good projects in there

I love "Big Knit Love"
Love the layout of the book. The pictures are so good that you need to flip a coin to decide which project to make first!

Not as good as it looks
This book is disappointing. I have now made 3 projects from the book. None of them have turned out to my satisfaction. Chunky knit top is apparently one size fits all—It doesn’t. There are no instructions to adjust for different sizes.Sequined throw over wrap instructions aren’t complete. Are you supposed to seam this or is it a shawl? It says leave a long tail which I would assume would be for a seam but it doesn’t say to seam anywhere. I did seam it. It was huge.Dolman sleeve chunky top is so loose, I have a feeling I should be doubling my bulky yarn, or maybe it’s not bulky enough, but I am less than thrilled at how it is turning out and will probably frog it.Most frustrating: none of these patterns are in Ravelry so you can add a project. I don’t know why this is—other books and magazines give you the ability to cast on from the pattern in Ravelry.Anyway I liked how most of these look in the book, but in reality they don’t look as great in person.

I really love this book
I really love this book. Lots of every nice projects and descriptive pictures for techniques of joining seams, etc. I'm looking forward to making many of the projects and have shared the book with friends who have also purchased.

Good for experts and beginners alike!
Love It! Haven't tried any of the patterns yet, but it looks fun and simple! The instructions are clear and seem easy to follow.

Disappointed
When you purchase a book on Amazon you have to take a chance. In this case it didn’t work out. The book only has a few sweater patterns and is mostly what I call filler (scarves, cowels, boot tops, etc.).
