If you are looking for functional storage that can withstand a busy household, these shelves are a great choice. I bought two for our homeschooling space to hold books and projects, and the size is perfect. They were incredibly easy to put together, taking roughly 15 minutes. After seeing how well they hold up against the daily wear and tear from my 3- and 7-year-old, I can confidently highly recommend them.

I ordered these bookshelves with specific measurements in mind. In that regard they are perfect, fitting into the space just as i expected, so I give it 5 stars there. They were easy enough to assemble, but since the shelves are not adjustable, but attached to the sides, assembly took a bit longer than some other shelves I have assembled. Since I did not have any issues with understanding how to assemble and I received all the necessary parts , I give the assembly process 5 stars as well. The shelves are sturdy enough for my purposes, but if you want to pack it full of heavy books, they may not hold up well in the long term. I recommend taking into account the weight limits given in the description. Based on the description, and my experience so far, I give it 5 stars there, too. Where I took a star off my overall review is with the sturdiness of the very top of the bookcase. My husband was looking fir a specific book and when he stood up he steadied himself with the corner of the top shelf. It did not completely damage it, but I did need to glue a couple blocks of wood to reinforce the connection where the shelf is attached to the sides. For extra measure, I did the same with the inside shelves as well. If they would include some type of reinforcement fir added sturdiness, this would have elevated my overall review to 5 stars. All in all, I do recommend these shelves, and would purchase again.

Very good stability, versatility, appearance, instructions, practicality for a very good price

I purchased two of these for my home office/game room. They were very affordable, and the color is nice. Additionally, they were easy to put together for the most part. That being said, they do seem a bit flimsy--the instruction manual itself says that each shelf can only hold 15lbs--so I would not want to use this for books or anything heavy. Additionally, as can be expected at this price, they're particle board, and several of the pieces don't line up particularly well. Also, one of the bottom pieces (labeled B) didn't have the holes marking where to attach the part that goes along the ground in the front (part C), and in the other package, one of the little plastic feet didn't have a nail in it. Overall, for the price and what I got them for, these are fine. I wouldn't put them in a living room or somewhere like that, nor would I put anything heavy (like books) on them, but for a home office, bedroom, or game room, these could be a decent option.

By "engineered wood" they mean particle board sandwiched between laminate. Weight tolerance on the assembly sheet says 20 lbs per shelf, not 40 lbs per shelf as the online description claims. With books you can quickly reach or exceed 20 lbs so that is not good. The height doesn't allow most books that are taller than 9.7 inches--probably a deliberate choice on the manufacturer's part given the 20 lb weight limit. This rules out books beyond the standard 6 x 9 format so storage capacity for what it is supposed to be, a bookshelf, isn't great. The back is a much thinner three-part panel that you fold out, better than cardboard as IKEA sometimes has, but not great. With all that, I am very skeptical about its durability. When you type "wood" in your search parameters as I did, you should be able to get real wood in the results, not something like this, so I feel I was misled by the manufacturer and the search on Amazon. You get what you pay for, I guess, so that should have clued me in. It might be good for collectibles, plushies, or lighter weight things other than books. I also would not use this in a bathroom as all sides are not covered in the laminate and the particle board is exposed. Assembly takes (specifically) a mallet and a Phillips head screwdriver, and it comes with 16 screws and 22 nails, 1 extra nail for a plastic tab to secure it to your wall, so it is easily put together. Overall, disappointed, not impressed. For this modest price I have purchased better in the past. If you want real wood, or expect something really sturdy, keep searching because this isn't it.

This is a nice, compact shelf that works perfectly in smaller rooms. It was easy to move and assmble alone. Even with some heavier books, it is stable and doesn't wobble.

Very easy to put together and very simple directions. It’s very stable and not wobbly. Can’t wait to fill it up with more books. It’s small and practical but hold a good amount. Package came with a lot of styrofoam so be prepared to clean up the mess but hey at least it was packaged with care.
