These chaps are great for walking through bushes and vegetation, especially dried weeds with seeds that stick to everything. Completely reflects cactus needles. Well worth the money - after researching everything available from numerous companies, this was the best. It's every bit worth what I paid for it. Plus I get a great health benefit. It makes my feet sweat, just like in a sauna. I can't even tell I'm sweating until I take off the chaps and my jeans are soaked. And they are rally easy to put on and take off when you have your boots on (good side zippers).

My wife wears them clearing 10 acres of very thorny brush covered land. She bought them out of fear of snakes, but we haven't seen the first snake. The land is covered in briars. She walks through the briars and never feels a single briar due to theses pants. She loves them.

I would verify what model you are purchasing, the model shown was not what arrived. The picture showed it being strapped to your belt, what arrived was fixed to waist belt that made it more cumbersome and far less adjustable. Quality seemed fine just not what was advertised

Bought these to thwart Rattlers and South Texas brush where everything has thorns. These work great keeping nasty thorn out of my legs when entering brush. I am very happy with them.

Awesome walking through briars and working with barbed wire in addition to snake bite protection. Lightweight and comfortable. I'm a female 5'7", 130 and I have the regular short and they fit fine. Worth every penny!

Very comfortable and extremely functional - serves as effective briar britches as well as snake protection. Chap design makes stepping up into truck easy / not restricting at all.
