I've used this grill for burgers, breakfasts, and especially, teppan stir fry dishes. Great for chicken fried rice, grilled, shrimp, steak and chicken. My new "go-to" outside cooking method. This is a very high quality grill. The ignition system is dependable, unlike so man others that fail by the second use. Surface heats fast, and is easy to clean. We love it!

I won't be fooled by proponents of gas or charcoal grills again. I've spent too much time with each to now see the benefits (nothing BUT benefits) of a flat top grill. This Brasero brand is nothing but high quality components which make it up. HEAVY-duty cast iron griddle, quick-to-light, matchless, burners, and enough flat top to serve 8 people (my guess) makes this a winner. I think it's also worth mentioning that in my opinion, cast iron is the way to go--far superior to steel, if for nothing else, creating that high temp sear/char that cast iron does so well.Legs on this unit allow for easy elevation adjustment and draining of grease in a large diameter hole. I don't see any issues to speak of with outdoor grilling and wind. There seems to be a small enough gap between the griddle and the opening below which are the two burners that flame outs are not likely. The lip on 3 sides of the griddle is large enough to prevent most splattering.Can't say enough about this griddle. First time use were "smash burgers" that were grilled keeping all the juices within the burger. Not easy (or possible) to do with a grated gas or charcoal grill. I'll never go back!Great product from a maker I had never heard of. HIGHLY recommended.

It is too heavy to comfortably maneuver for relocation and cleaning under the grill top. The uneven almost peened enamel surface is extremely difficult to clean because baked on residue settles in the small surface indentations. Maintaining a constant cooktop temperature other than really hot requires turning the burners on and off repeatedly. And lastly, the drip cup developed pinholes in the bottom which renders the grill unusable and was the last straw issue that compels me to request a refund from Amazon. I purchased the grill on Sept. 20, 2018. Manufacturer contact information listed in the enclosed literature was inactive.

I ordered this over other brands on the strength of online reviews. When it arrived the package had a small cut in the bottom of the lower corner, but nothing that looked to affect the contents. Upon opening the box, I could see this to be a correct assumption. But when I took out the first part, which holds the controls, I could see something was wrong. The box damage could not have caused this, as the controls were very crooked, leaning off to one side. And the bottom panel was coming off as the one rivet was not installed correctly. I gave it a try, but the controls would not turn.For the reviews this gets online, I was very surprised to see this arrive in such condition. I set up a return immediately.The second unit arrived, this time via USPS rather than UPS, a bit of a surprise as this thing is heavy: 48 pounds! But the box was in perfect condition, or nearly so. And the unit is as it should be. No dents. No offset or crooked controls. The cook top as it should be, and everything was included as stated.I set this up and have only been cooking on it two days, but it is a great unit. If I have a complaint it is how messy it is, as oil spatters horribly all over the front. But cleanup is simple, and so far we love how it works and the end results of the food.

This was a great product. Best on the market. Well worth the money. Really easy to use and clean.When it comes to cleaning, I use a 3 process. Ice, then mild cleaning solution, then ice again. But make sure you turn it off when using the cleaning solution. Also, have big bowl to empty out the trap during cleaning. Don't have to use so much ice. I use about 6 or 7 pieces of ice. so I’ve had this beast for over a year now and I think it’s an appropriate time to write an updated review.It’s heavy. You’re not going to toss this around like a tabletop Weber. The cast iron grill plate is coated in enamel and is finicky about sitting in the base just right. Also, you 100% need to place it on a non flammable surface. I used ceramic floor tiles on a wooden table. The sucker gets way hot.Cleaning the burner unit is tricky but necessary.Many reports of the hose leaking at the propane supply end. Do yourself a favor if you’re buying this unit and get a spare hose unless the sound of propane hissing 3 feet from an open flame doesn’t bother you. I just bought a replacement in braided steel. You may want to spring for one with a regulator because the burner controls are trifling too. The knobs look meaty enough but low heat is still too high if you just want to keep stuff warm and not cook it to death.On the plus side, a little bit of oil and a hot griddle make for a great sear on burgers and steaks. Even though the cooktop is not “non stick” I’ve found cleaning the top to be way easier than cleaning the bottom. It would be great if a grease channel was incorporated into the design instead, you have to adjust the height so the grease reservoir sits lower than the left side. This means you need to fool with oil to keep it on the flat top and out of the little pot.It’s a good little cooktop, overall, but the flaws are annoying, especially the leaky hose thing. You could end up blowing yourself up if you aren’t careful.

Reviewing this after a year’s use. Very well made product all around not just certain parts. Gets very hot but controls are good. Grease drainage is good. Great for family of four meal max I would say.

This griddle is exactly what I was looking for. I have cooked chicken, beef, pork, fish and shrimp on it and I am amazed that it took me soo long to decide to trade my grill for this jewel. If I had any complaint it would be that the grease receptacle be bigger, but all in all, I say it is as near perfect as it can be. I am still experimenting, but so far, it is 2 thumbs way up!.

Great Product , it’s bigger than I though for sure.The only problem I have is that the product description says or at least it makes it sound like it includes the accessories. It comes with a cover( for the bbq ) , and the propane adapter and that is it.Still worth the money!!
