Had these bags so long they fell apart ! They went on every vacation and bottles came home in perfect condition. They are probably 10 years old and finally just died, dried up, fell apart LOL . I ordered 3 new ones and they are waiting to go again ! Love these bags never need to leave a champagne , vodka or wine behind.

My wife and I used three of these on the return side of a recent trip to Virginia. Nothing broke, but I have some thoughts to share on this item. First of all, on the POSITIVE side, these are a great idea and I give lots of kudos to the inventor. The concept of a sealed bag with a lining that's absorbent enough to sop up the contents of an entire bottle of wine in the event of breakage is a good one. On the NEGATIVE side, however, there are some things to consider that have knocked a couple of stars off of my review. First of all -- this doesn't really protect your wine from breaking, it mostly absorbs the mess in case it does. This is a zip-lock bag the size of a wine bottle with an absorbent paper lining, not a protective bubble-wrap type container. So be sure to pack well, even if you do use the bags. The other negative is that I highly recommend you shop around first before deciding to make the purchase. There is a version of this bag, made by the same company, that includes not only the absorbent padding but protective bubble-wrap as well -- and it's available in a 3-pack in a well-known national brick-and-mortar home and kitchen supply store for under $12. In the final analysis, these bags are a good idea and my wife and I recommend them. Just be careful and shop around first. This isn't such a great "Prime" deal.

Bought these for my parents to take wine to thier trip to India! Packing wine bottles in check-in bag can lead to disaster. Suitcase gets tossed around and take a beating especially on trips to foreign countries. To ease my moms mind that her precious/expensive clothes would not get ruined we decided to crack a bottle in the bag to see if any would leak. (Also I was curious to see how these would absorb). The bag was legit!! Absorbed the wine without any leakage; reminded me of a diaper for a wine bottle. Put my mom at ease and didn't mind loading up all the suitcases with the max allowed bottled of wine! **Note these are meant to absorb wine after a break; not really prevent bottles from breaking, However we didn't have a issue since they were packed in the center of the suitcases around clothes to allow for shock abosorption!

I just arrived home. No broken bottles! I actually couldn't decide between these and those sleeves w the bubble wrap in them. I was actually able to out the bottle in this and slide the whole thing into the bubble wrap sleeve. Worked like a charm. Also, the material in this is not attached to the bag, so you can adjust to wrap up other liquids that aren't that exact shape. I wrapped some small liquid items in paper and slid them in this bag. They came home intact as well. Very versatile product, and can be reused. I highly recommend

We bought 18 of these bags for a trip to Belgium and France. Each bag held a 750mL bottle of wine or beer comfortably and with some room to spare. We even put two 12oz beer bottles in a bag, and they fit a little tighter but well (with some extra padding to separate the bottles). I would definitely recommend these, as they double as insulation, absorbant material, and a plastic bag to contain any leaks. We put them in our checked luggage on the way home with no issues.
