I have to start out by saying that it's always been a struggle for me to drink water. I know that our body needs it to function properly, etc., but the taste has always turned me off. There was always an after taste. So I started searching for water filters that would reduce the chlorine taste and odor, copper, mercury, etc. I have been reading that alkaline water regulates your body's pH level and has a number of health benefits. So, I figure I would give the alkaline filter a shot. I already have two Brita water jugs and I didn't want another one. So I started searching for filters that would fit my Brita water jugs. After reading reviews and the Q&A section, I decided to order the ECO4US alkaline filter. Fast delivery and was well packaged. I couldn't wait to try it as I wanted to know if I could taste a difference between the regular filter and the alkaline filter. All I can say is.......what took me so long!!!! I absolutely love, love love the clean, refreshing taste.....no weird taste, just pure, clean, amazing tasting water. It's crazy because I find myself craving this stuff. This will be my only go-to alkaline filter. If you are on the fence about purchasing this alkaline filter, jump over the fence and just get it......you will thank me!!!! :-)

Thanks all the people who gave 5 stars reviews because they help me to buy this great filters. I was skeptical at first but for the price I would give it a try. I bought a little tester bottle just to verify. I test tap water, 4 different kinds of bottle water and water from this filter. My son thought I did some tricks on him, I didn’t expect what I saw either, tap water is good the way it supposed to be, around 7, bottle water is about the same, one of the bottle water is yellow, I think about 6, but water from this filter is purple. I have been wasting my money on bottle water for so long, but happy to find this filter for great price because I heard my friends talking about thousands of dollars alkaline water machine, I’ll keep buying this filter because it fits my Brita pitcher. I am impressed! These are just a few buck more than the Brita filters, and they produce alkali water, which is all the rage when it comes to healthy living. Alkali water has been touted as a cancer treatment and a preventative measure, among other benefits. I usually buy store filtered water, even going to the length of finding the best filtered water in my area, which includes activated carbon and UV, which by the way, tastes much better than my tap water. However, I filled my pitcher using an Eco4us Alkaline filter from the tap, and the difference was AMAZING! The water tastes wonderful with no detectable 'alkali' odor or taste, although I'm not sure what that would taste like (I imagined it could be bleachy or metallic somehow, but it was nothing of the sort).Here is the real interesting part. After drinking the Eco4us filtered water, I then tasted my previously-favored, store-filtered water, and I could actually taste the acidity in it. I was blown away! I am a believer... Besides, at $4 for a bottle of alkali water, this beats that in value 100 times over!

Been going to Amazon for water filters for years. I really do like this brand of filter although the great taste from the filter won't last too long. From first change depending on your house hold it should last about 3 weeks. I got a family of 4 and it hold up about a week and a half before the great clean taste goes away. Even though the taste will eventually fade the filters do hold up well after that. We made use of one filter close to a month before checking the water particles (originally owned a zero water and got the free check tool). I can't say for sure if it is actually alkaline but for the price and quality of water were getting from it I will be buying again soon.

my tap water has very bad taste and smell. this filter removes all the bad and makes my water taste and smell so much better. normal 7.1 ph at tap. from pitcher I have 8.6 ph. only gripe I have is it takes approximately 15 minutes for water to go through for one "load" to run through. I will continue to use but am irritated by the slowness.

It was getting to the point, where not only could we not drink our tap water, but even the bottled water was beginning to taste off. Eco4us - Alkaline Water Pitcher Replacement Filters made drinking water enjoyable, again. We just bought a Britta pitcher and these filters fit right in. The water did taste a little chalky the first time, even though we filtered two pitchers. However, we did not have this experience with the 2nd filter. It was all good. We will be buying these again in the future.

bought a box of these, 1st filter the water tasted terrific, like spring water! 2nd filter - eh, not much taste at all, very disappointed. I'll use this for a few weeks, then try the 3rd filter and see if that tastes better, if not like the 1st, will try another brand. pH on all of them, measured with strips was around 9, have no idea what caused the difference in taste since my tap water hasn't changed.

I used a couple of different brands and types of alkaline filters, and even that i see the difference between alkaline vs normal filters, its not as good as it could be (vs other gravity filters).i still have slight muscle cramps, that i dont have when using the 7/5 stage zen filter system.Also has the same issue as all clones/generic filters, a leak around the area where regular filters have a rubber seal, since they don't come with any there is unfiltered water bypassing the filter.
