I received the raincoat earlier than expected (they let me know so I could watch for the package). It fits my dog very well and offers more coverage than the previous Ruffwear coat. However, I really liked the mesh lining in the older version; this is thinner. Hopefully it will last as long, as we got several years of use out of the old one, and we live where it rains frequently. Our dog is a very shorthaired hound, and muscular though very lean. It fits a bit better than the older version, with a bit more room across the chest. The elastic bands to keep it in place in windy weather might seem like a good idea, but not to my dog!

It’s perfect for California. I wanted a rain barrier that covered well. Covers butt and neck better than others I’ve tried. Got XL for 93 lb German Shepard. Maybe could of gone size larger but this fits by adjusting the belly strap to make it a little looser.

My dog needs a walk, rain or shine. We have used many raincoats over the years not all have good coverage or hold up overtime. This coat is easy to put on, comfortable for her to wear, has been washed several times, and shows no signs of deterioration.This coat has great coverage so there is minimal wetness to wipe off when we return from our walk. I love the leg straps to hold down the butt end of the coat. This is a problem I’ve always had with rain coats in the past is they blow forward towards her neck and leave her butt exposed in the wind. Would definitely buy again.

Very good quality jacket that has clips on both side though after speaking to company and researching it was way too large for my 11 lb dog who fit the description. It’s going back and I’m ordering xxs. Pricey but I like the design and the fact that it doesn’t have velcro

Used as a rain coat. Pricey but the quality makes it worth it. Leg straps keep it in place during windy weather.

I'm docking this coat just a bit because there is no lining. At the price point, some sort of lining would be a nice touch. But I needed something with a harness opening for my dog who wears a Ruffwear harness, and the coat I usually get from another brand for about the same price but better quality was out of stock in her size.

My Shitzu is under ten pounds, measuring neck 10", chest 15" and back length 11". This XXS raincoat fits like it was made on her. At first the lightweight fabric made me wonder. I worked in a ski shop for a half dozen years and this has features similar to a quality shell jacket for humans. Water resistant, breathable fused lining. SEAM SEALED...a by-hand process that keeps moisture from leaking in through the stitching! Overlapped covers on snaps, leash portal. Flip up collar vs. annoying hood. Any dog should stay dry and wind-protected in this coat. Can't wait to take her out in it.

After buying quite a few dog coats for my 2 girls that stated waterproof but at best were showerproof i was pretty fed up. Did a 3 hour search and read hundreds of reviews from everywhere and these came highly recommended. So again took a chance.... quite a costly one as needed 2, so glad i did. Have had 2 dry dogs in this appalling rain we are having over last week. Was very sceptical when they arrived as very thin and lightweight, but my god they didnt lie, at last a genuine WATERPROOF dog coat. So yes not the cheapest, but have probably spent out enough to have purchased 4 of these on " supposedly waterproof ones ". And they can roll up small enough to put in pockets or backpack . Thankyou Ruffwear you now have another loyal customer for my dogs needs.

Wanted a light weight, travel dog coat. This one is brilliant, it is just a rain mac no padding but perfect length and width for a cocker spaniel. Rolls up next to nothing for a day out. Great quality, well sewn. Fab access to harness at the top

This coat fitted my sprollie well and he seemed comfortable in it.A lot thinner than I thought it would be.Glad I measured properly as I was tempted to go up a size which would have been way to big.Havent tried it in the rain yet ad it hadn't rained yet to try it.

Nothing wrong with the coat. Didn't think it was good value for money.

Expensive, but well worth it. It’s very light to carry in a backpack if necessary and keeps doggo nice and dry.
