Die worked as it should, bought it to clean up some threads that got crushed, great price.

Kind of an odd size to need and harder for me to find locally, but luckily Amazon had this when I needed it. It is the correct steel and worked perfect, just as good as any other tap in the tool boxes.

Great, worked out perfectly

I had some screws that needed to be cut shorter, but cutting them damaged the threads. This die was exactly what I needed to re-form the ends of these screws. It's very easy to use: just align the screw with the threads on the die and twist. The die will last longer if you put oil on your part first; a drop of 3-in-1 oil worked just fine. The die looks well-built and appears to be shaped specifically to fit in a handle. However, for the relatively light-duty task of repairing screws, I was able to just turn it with my bare hands and faced very little resistance. The threads it cut are nearly indistinguishable from the intact ones on my M3 screws; it didn't even scratch the black oxide layer. Now my screws are good as new! This tool did the job and is priced reasonably.

Worked just as it was intended, I was able to rethread a small bolt, and it worked perfect. (don't forget to use cutting oil with it)

I needed to thread a couple 6mm shafts about 1" each. Cutting oil on the shaft and die and the threads were clean. The OD of die did not fit any of my die stocks, so used a vice grip. I did not measure the OD, it might be metric instead of Imperial.
