I don't have a cat. so am not sure how this works for a litterbox. I do have a canister vacuum that smells musty no matter how many filters are changed and no matter how many times it is cleaned with deodorizing cleaner and/or bleach. It smells fine for a couple of days, then gets musty again.I add this product when changing the bag, and it keeps the mustiness away for a long time. I just open the top of the crystals container and suck some in after putting in a new bag. It doesn't need a lot and one container of crystals will last a long time, so don't waste money by letting a lot get sucked up. It really doesn't take much of the product to eliminate the musty smell.I like the smell of the lavender and vanilla, and I wish I could smell it more when using the vacuum. You really can't smell this product much, if at all, when vacuuming. It's a bit of a bummer because I like the fragrance, but it does stop the vacuum from smelling like a wet dog, so it's not masking the smell with another smell. It just works great to keep the mustiness away until it's time to change the bag again.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It's Arm & Hammer, made with Baking Soda, and has the nicest scent of all. I also don't mind that the price point is agreeable, as well! I have several stinky, messy cats, and this deoderizer definitely helps the smell situation be much more bearable! I have it on S&S every month, which works very well for me! Give it a try, if you need to also calm and relax your pets alongside the nicely scented deoderizing effects. A 100% recommended purchase!

I didn't realize when I ordered it that it was lavender scented (which is 1 scent that makes me sick)... I just saw the price with subscription and placed the order... I stopped the subscription now as I found a scent at 💲🌳 for a bigger amount and only 1.25. The 1 thing I will say about this 1 though is the bottle is awesome, as soon as I finished it off I washed the bottle, took off the label and now I have it for my diamond painting drills lol. So anyway, if u like lavender scent then u will like this. It does not calm my cat but she is only a kitten.. lol. Have an amazing day! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS!

Effective addition to regular litter and smells pleasant!

I’m a fan lol. I bought this twice now. And I think it works really well in my cat's litter. I use pellets and it still did its job. I’m going to keep buying. If you’re worrying about it staining your litter box, don’t. Because as soon ad you clean or wipe it will come off.

This is the best out there. The crystals smell wonderful and my cat doesn’t mind the fragrance either!
