Pretty easy to install. It does arrive flat, but it is very easy to slightly bend a curve to match the fairing shape. As mentioned by others. the instructions are horrible and might as well not even be included. Once bent to proper shape, using the spacers, start the screws in the backplates. three per side. Make sure the protective coating faces where it will contact the fairing, slip it in place and tighten the screws. I may change out the hardware eventually, but as is for now. Easy to find videos showing how to install

Took minutes to fit, looks good and protects the headlight.. impressed

Let me start by saying that I have no basis for comparison... This is the only one of these I've ever seen in person. I know there are several vendors for this headlight guard. Just by looking at pictures of the OEM version and others, it looks to be an exact replica of the OEM. The installation video shows the installer laying the headlight fairing on a concrete floor, (don't do that, obviously). The written directions are awful, there are pictures but whoever wrote them doesn't speak English well.. One thing left out is that thing arrives flat. To install it, you have to bend it to match the contour of the fairing. I bent mine over my thigh, a little at a time until it fit the fairing. I also bought some stainless steel allen head bolts and tossed the Phillips head bolts that came with it. Finally, make sure you use a little blue loctite. Overall, I'm satisfied with it.
