Hanging hardware on the back makes it very easy to hang and straighten on your wall. The numbers are cut with a scroll saw from 1/4" plywood and lightly painted with Krylon chalk paint. They are another reason I call this a rustic clock. Due to the crafting from an imperfect soul, there are imperfections in the lines and thickness of each number. But they also add another dimension, being raised from the clock surface. Lately, I have become a fan of "Fixer Upper" a show on HGTV where a couple helps others find houses in need of lots of work.
