Awesome, worked perfect. lifesaver. arrived the next day. there are lots of 1/4 valve caps. Would be nice if it was half 1/4" and half 5/16th " caps. lots of people probably need this tool for mini splits.

I don't know if I really needed this when servicing my mini-split or if I could've just lived with the valve core installed, but it seemed like it would be a good idea to have that option, and this tool wasn't very expensive at $18. It is a much better deal at about 1/4 the price of the name-brand version everyone recommends. Installation and usage was pretty straightforward. The seals all worked well and held. It was able to remove the valve core, though I did have to unscrew the heatpump from the pad and jack it up a bit to have room to pull the plunger out. The shutoff valve worked without leaking. The spare caps came in handy for my gauge set. The valve core went back in easily too. Overall, it did its job and the price was reasonable, so 5 stars from me.

This isolated valve did as it said. I could remove Schrader valve, replace and charge my a/c unit.

Seems very well made. I expect that it will last a long time at my infrequent use. I just used it for my first time. I wasn't expecting the amount of pressure the "piston" generates when the valve is removed. Also it took about 5 tries to get the old stem out of the tool. New valve went in fine.
