Fiber for Dogs Psyllium Seed Husk & Dehydrated Beet Root Powder, 6 & 12 oz.

FFD was recommended for my dog’s loose, watery, and difficult stools a couple of years ago. It started working almost immediately, is easy to use, dog approved. As many products of this nature, it is fairly pricey. It is excellent quality, arrives in a timely manner. Great product.

I adopted my 4 month "Lab Mix" puppy in mid-April of 2025. We slowly transitioned her to her new food as the weeks went by, and aside from house breaking her, she was having accidents very frequently. No shape, and all liquid. We thought maybe the new food was not mixing well with her. We decided to try a new food, with probiotics this time, well.... that kind of worked. Her stools were still very loose, but they did have some shape. They were not quite where we wanted them to be. We did notice, however, when we gave her carrots, they would be more solid and easy to pick up. After we took her to the vet and the vet assured us she was of good health standing, we decided to give this product a try after the vet suggested adding psyllium husk to her diet. HOLY COW! In about two days, it was night and day. The best poops she has ever had since we brought her home. It's also made potty training so much easier! Almost down to no accidents when we're at work, which has provided us with some comfort being away. Her accidents were occurring in the middle of the night and those were not fun to wake up to at 2 AM. My girl is able to hold her poops better and they're so easy to clean up which has been a plus. Its currently July 17th, and we have been adding it to her dinner kibble for two weeks now. Anyways, this worked great for my pup. I thought the fiber may loosen her stools more, but it's helped to firm hers up and its worked wonders.

My five year old mini-goldendoodle had not enough fiber in her diet and I aggravated her stomach by varying her diet too much. She suffered from diarrhea and very loose stools for 5 weeks even with vet care: got as bad as maple syrup on the recently steam cleaned carpet! Vet said try Metamucil, but she is only 14 lbs and doesn't like the orange flavor and sugar so I got this and IT HAS CURED HER IN 6 DAYS. She is now very happy and better than ever. I cover it with powder Purina FORTAFLORA and she is happy.

My old lady pup is a sensitive little bean and tends to get the stress squirts whenever a new mail person giving her the wrong treat, the neighbor's dog gives her side eye, or there is an errant breeze. So this is a blessing and I have noticed a dramatic improvements in her daily eliminations. She seems to like the broth it makes, too. I mix it with low sodium chicken broth instead of water, along with her healthy brain powder into her kibble, give a quick zap in the microwave, and she chows down. She is much less bloated, her poops are normal, and she is much less flatulent (huge bonus, as she is frightened of her own toots).

Awesome fiber for dogs. I can tell my dog doesn't love the taste but it's not bad enough to prevent him from eating. It's simple to use and looks just like dehydrated beet powder. It's a bit more expensive compared to plain beet powder but it works better for firming up stools in my experience. It does leave a residue at the bottom of the bowl if any powder gets to the bottom of the bowl. It can be annoying to clean off if you let it sit and dry up so just make sure to clean up after your dog eats. It works so well I've made it a regular part of my dogs meals.

My dog struggled with chronic loose stools. This product helps immensely.

Reviews sound promising, just got it to day so I'm interested in seeing the outcome with my old pup.he has been suffering from colitis so fingers crossed this helps. Was VERY disappointed that the container was half full when I opened it.

Update: I’ve used it all and will be ordering more! Solved the problem with my Yorkie’s stomach issues! She eats prescription dog food and her poops are very small so she has anal gland problems to but this helps that also. No more diarrhea on and off. It really works. My other dog has anal gland issues and it makes her better. They charged me $35 at the vet last time I had to have them expressed. No more going to the vet for that. Oh and they love the way it taste! I guess it’s the because of the beet root. My yorkie has diarrhea on & off. We’ve been to the vet and tried lots of things but didn’t really help. Used some probiotics but that didn’t help. Then I got this stuff and wow she’s all better. Also both of my dogs get fish butt. It’s really expensive to carry them to the vet to get anal glands expressed. This fixed that problem with my yorkie but my other dog still has fish butt once in awhile. I’ve increased her dosage to the full recommended so we’ll see if that solves the problem.
