I start by saying I absolutely love this story, and so does every other, adult or child, that reads it. A quick-witted cat, and a mediocre witch, you pretty much have all of the ingredients you need for an exceptional read. Zat is a wonderful teller of tales presenting in the diction “of cabbages and kings and fairy wings.”Being self taught in spells his quest leads the reader on a journey and a captivating ‘tail.’This will easily be the favorite book in your child’s and your library! You will never get tired of reading it over and over. On the surface, its about a black cat, but it tells of a deeper tale. Raised in a dark cave a cat goes from ordinary to extraordinary. Using what skills he has to help another he learns his unique value to both King and Kingdom.Can’t wait for the movie!!!
