I ordered this lid as a replacement to the one that came with my bottle. The button opening allowed for quick access to water instead of other lids where you may need to screw or unscrew the top. Not only is this faster, in my opinion, but also easier to clean since the threading on the other lids is not as sponge friendly as one would like. The button also slides to lock so it shouldn't open accidentally! The top of the lid has a silicone-esque band that you can use to hold it. It fits comfortably and if your bottle is all-metal, it doesn't make a loud clanging sound when you set the bottle down, that's more my preference.Overall, this lid is easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to replace. (I'd buy another if my current lid ever failed on me for some reason)

I bought this lid for my hydro flask and I absolutely love it. Gone are the days of sipping through a straw that gets moldy. This lid is sleek, has a spring loaded cap, a nice handle, and a lock.Unfortunately, after 7 months of daily use the spring broke. I reached out to the company and they did not hesitate to offer to send me a replacement, which I happily agreed to.I would recommend this product to anyone, it's so much better than using a straw, and best bang for your buck in terms of quality and convenience.

Nearly perfect lid. My first one lasted about 14 months. I had to buy a new one because there was a strange, black buildup on the silicone seal that wouldn’t go away, no matter how many times I washed it or how hard I scrubbed with vinegar, soap, etc (see pictures). But I got the exact same model because it’s worked so well!Fits my 36oz Hydroflask with no leaks. One-handed opening and drinking are so helpful when traveling or hiking, and the hole for drinking is perfectly sized for small sips or large gulps, no worries about it coming out too fast or slow. Easy to clean except for that pesky black buildup, which started after about a year of daily use. Can take a beating inside backpacks and bounce around in cars with no damage to the seal, and the locking mechanism makes it extra secure. The carry loop handle is helpful and very sturdy as well.I love that this allows me to use the same bottle and only replace the lid, so ultimately it’s creating less waste than replacing the whole thing. (It would be even cooler if I could replace ONLY the silicone pieces!)The threads for the top don’t *quite* match up with the threads on the bottle, but again, I experienced no leaks in over a year of use before replacing it, so it’s really only a cosmetic issue.

I was so bummed when I dropped my Simple Modern water bottle that I use daily and broke the lid. I took a chance on this replacement and Bingo It worked like a champ! No leaks. Thank You!

I tried a straw lid, and I was dissatisfied because of the air bubbles that would form. I tried 2 other sprout lids but one was incredibly difficult to clean and the other was impossible. For the latter, the plastic that would prevent the water from leaking, would get a brownish-yellow stain and no matter what technique I used to wash it with detergents, the stain wouldn't disappear.This one is incredibly easy to clean, and it has a release valve which is super-convenient. I've owned water bottles for a good 8 years and have not found one of this quality until now.
