Why does the front of the bottle say it bonds to epdm, but under limitations its says it is not for use with white or black epdm?

Please read the label more carefully: no black sealant on white EPDM, no white sealant on black. In other words, use black sealant only on black material, white only on white.

Want to use under a white epdm roof to adhere to new plywood - any problem using this black adhesive? thank you.

Worked fine for me. Roof was peeling back from wind and this held as a repair; press down epdm after application while it cures. Then covered edge with self leveling white lap sealant.

what is the difference with this and the 2300?

The 2300 i have used is more runny and sticks to everything to include bronze and stainless.

Can this product be applied to pond liner to glue onto another piece of liner? Would it be harmful to fish?

That's exactly what I did, nothing changed with the comets or Shubunkins.
