These things are the best! I am always looking for hair products that are easy on the hair, simple to use, and work well. These little things fit the bill! I have seen videos where Amish use them, but I didn't think much of it at the time. Then after doing some 1700s reenacting, I learned that the American Colonists used the same thing! After having my hair done in them (I use 3 pins and it holds all my hair), I decided to get some of my own. I keep my hair up in a bun a lot (almost everyday) to get it out of my face, but I think that hair ties are harder on the hair and break it easily than pins. The pins are easy to put in, hold my hair well, and my head doesn't hurt from using them like hair ties. These ones are very strong and haven't bent at all. I am very pleased and highly reccomend this product!

These are the best hair pins that I have ever purchases... They are strong... They dont hurt or scratch.. So far the color doesnt flake off...And you get a lot of them and the cute little container keeps them nice neat and organized... Great for travel... Love them!!!

They are thick and sturdy. They do not bend when you have thick hair and you are trying to put it in a bun. I will definitely be purchasing again when I run low.
