God forbid you ever have to use this. But like my EDC, better to have than not. Nice quality with mount (no screws). Nice fit and comfort. As for ease of use, you won't know till you need it. Keep in mind your probably going to be pretty stressed, when your hit by DUI felon, your cars rolled over and you smell smoke. Be prepared. Train your kids. Follow instructions, always hit the top ends of your passenger window. Not for use on windshields. That's why I purchased two. OK UPDATE: 1/26/26. I finally chose my mounting location (in case of roll over). I also attached Velcro for extra strength. Find your spot and go for it.

This car glass breaking hammer and seat belt cutter appears to be very sturdy and well made. The bundle of 10 was a good buy. I purchased ten in order to give them out to family and friends.

I never knew this type of tool existed. Sadly, it took a headline story of a missing teenage girl and the recovery of her car/remains in a lake for me to first hear about the car safety hammer. This tool can be used not only to break glass windows but also to cut seatbelts. Its colored bright orange so it can easily be spotted in an emergency situation. I've already placed these in our cars. I'm not being overly dramatic when I say one of these tools belongs in everyone's car. The price is just a few dollars and worth every penny. These Car Safety Hammers are sturdy and practical. Everyone needs at least one for their vehicles...if not for you, then to be prepared for emergencies!!

Hope I or anyone in family will ever have to use it. But good to know we have it handy. Orange color makes it stand out in cubby, fits comfortably in my hand.

Appears to be a good product. Hope to never use them to reveal their utility. After reading various reviews I believe that these are a more reliable choice than a spring loaded window breaker.
