One for each granddaughter….we right in it all the time. It’s very special. Highly recommend!!

I bought this for my mom and daughter to send back and forth through the mail. We were going to send a self-addressed, postage paid envelope with the book every time so that it could be just dropped in the mail box each time but the post office informed me today (after my daughter excitedly got it ready for it's first trip) that packages over a pound have to be sent priority which is too pricey and has to be done there. The book all by itself weighs just under a point, a single envelope for mailing tips it over the pound. So disappointed. The book has a really great cover, but that's it's downfall. It's really sturdy "cardboard" front and back, almost more of a thin particle board, but it's over the spine rather than a continuation...if that makes sense...I can't add more than one pic on here or I'd show you...anyway it results in a book that opens fully to write from either page anywhere in the book with a nice sturdy surface to write on. That's great but too heavy. If I could order a softcover book I would as this one can't be passed b/w them much in any cost effective way. Also, sometimes the questions touch the same topic, but aren't the same. Sometimes I get it...sometimes I feel like it throws the participants in different directions. Great book though. If I could mail it I would give it 28 stars.

This is such a sweet book. Unfortunately when I received it the box and book both were damaged.

I purchased this for my 11-year-old granddaughter for Christmas and she was excited to realize that she and I would be doing it together. I can hardly wait to begin! In years to come, I expect that she will look back at what we've written and treasure it. Depending on how well it goes, I hope to get one for each of my younger grandchildren.

This journal is a great idea in theory but it has way too much blank space. For every few pages of prompt questions there’s several pages of “free space”. Would have been better with more prompts.

I got this for my grandmother and I to write back and forth in. Though we didn’t get to use it for very long I was impressed with the layout and the questions within. I was able to ask her lots of questions and there is a lot of free space to write without questions as well which was nice.

My three granddaughters, age 10, all loved this Christmas gift! Since each of them really enjoys writing and reading, it was the perfect idea for our having a special way to communicate personal thoughts/memories. I waited to write my review so as to get a true sense of how this would evolve. We exchange our books at least once a month, and my only dismay is I fear we will run out of pages within a very short time! They will have a wonderful memory of this time in their life which they shared with me (their grandmother!). Highly recommend; good quality paper and construction.

This one caught me off guard a little. At first glance on the picture provided its just a regular bound hard back book. But when it came in its almost like a blue hard back book (like spine) with another hardcover front and back glued on top. So the yellow portions in the picture "stick up" more than the blue spine. Its a really cute book and a keeper for sure, I bought two for my sister-n-law who is going to be a grandma for the first time to two baby girls within a couple months of each other. But the cover thing was kinda unusual.

Purchased this book for future for my darling Granddaughter and I know it will hold and record very special memories for us both

My grand daughter and I are really enjoying sharing our thoughts in this book. She is 8 which is a good age to start using this book.

Excellent content encourages story telling my granddaughter and I love doing this together
