The Research Labs 2 Fer 1 Ad Berberine has been going well for me so far in the couple weeks that I've been taking it. Because each capsule contains 500 mg, it is simple and painless to spread out the dosage throughout the day. Since it might be difficult to obtain both Berberine and BerberQuil Support in one bottle, I like that this medication has all of them. The capsules are easy to swallow and of average size. I take mine with food, and I haven't experienced any upset stomachs. I like that the ingredients are simple and the label is clear; there are no extraneous additions or fillers. I Am a Woman with diabetes who was looking for a way to balance my blood sugar. I've heard that Berberine is a Natural way to accomplish this goal. I try & take natural compounds, or herbs when I can. I do exercise daily - yet I felt I needed a supplement to further help both my Blood Sugar & my cholestrol. Well I uncovered the fact that Berberine is a naturally occurring compound in Nature, with a bitter taste (but the capsules aren't bitter). *Tree turmeric is rich in minerals, vitamins, and various phytochemicals, with berberine as the main bioactive compound [ berberine is touted to help with Diabetes, Heart disease, & inflammation]. On with the Review: I experienced no gas or tummy upset (which I was pleased about ), nor did I have cramps or a headache. These are possible issues - so best consult with your Dr. first (of course) -- in case there might be any interaction with medicine you are taking. The capsules have no taste, are pleasant enough. I have used other products /supplements by Research Labs. And they do seem to use quality ingredients. I was always pleased with the results. When I took their Resveratrol, it gave me extra energy. So I was eager to try the Berberine. Well, I can honestly say that it helped me out with my diabetic symptoms. In the past, I sometimes became dizzy (and even fell once, at night getting out of bed ). That was scary, and was due to my Diabetes. Since using berberine I do feel more balanced (and I am Able to do my daily treadmill ) - which I couldn't before. These pills are taken 3 times a day -- before meals (I had mine a half hour before my meal). You may want to make a chart/schedule to help u take the supplement at the right time. That way you'd likely have better results The Berberine is made in the USA -- in Utah, specifically. So that's a Plus in my book.

Seems like a good berberine, nice and bright yellow. Helps keeping my cholesterol numbers down.

Got friends that swear by it, price was right, so thought I'd give it a try. Had high hopes but the wife and I didn't see any changes in suger #'s or really anything else. Healthy living over doughnuts I'm assuming.

I noticed that it has a little after taste and so I take it with meals rather than before meals. Taking with food also helps with bioavailability. Price is affordable and is more than okay for 2 bottles. I noticed that I am less fatigued after taking the recommended dosage which is 3 times a day. I hope that based on reviews by people, this will help regulate my blood sugar levels and my cholesterol levels as well so I can in the near future stop taking statins. I also noticed that this is helping curb my binge snacking or eating which will help me achieve my goal of a healthy weight level.

A few weeks in and I’m already noticing a difference — faster than expected. No stomach issues or side effects, which I was a bit worried about since berberine can be rough on digestion for some people. Capsules are a decent size and easy to work into a routine. Getting two bottles per order is also a better deal than buying single bottles elsewhere — 180 capsules lasts a good while. Solid, no-fuss supplement so far. Will update if anything changes long-term.

First off let me say I haven't tried these yet however the fine powdered berberine HCL that is clearly visible in the capsule looks to be of high quality, much finer grind then what I have taken in the past so we'll see on efficacy. I've been taking berberine for a long time as a diabetic and it is very helpful for stabilizing my blood sugar. I just received my order today in the mail and although the price was incredibly good as I understand this is a new product for this company I have a couple issues with the product I received in regards to package labeling and the fill level of the capsules. I have included pictures so that you can see what I'm talking about for both issues. The first issue is the labeling on the back of the package which is misleading / incorrect regarding dose size and number of doses in a package. Package states there are 90 capsules equaling 90 servings. Serving size says there is 1,500 mg of berberine HCL in a serving. This would mean that each capsule would have to weigh 1500 mg in order for that to be true... That is not true. I find this to be a very common and sometimes likely intentional blurring of the lines/intentional misleading with at least some of the products available here on Amazon. I'm going to assume that somebody just screwed up when they designed the label with this product and it's not intentional. If they intend for someone to take one capsule three times a day that would be 90 servings but then the serving size should be 500 mg, not 1,500 mg. Someone needs to correct this. The second issue I have is the fill level of each capsule. They are using a size 0 capsule which an empty one weighs 100 mg. I weighed about 10 different filled capsules out of my bottle and they all ranged between 536mg-543mg which is a very acceptable variation. However the issue in my opinion is that once you subtract the 100 mg weight of the empty capsule the actual range for what's contained in the capsule is approximately 435 mg - 445 mg. These capsules have empty space still in them which tells me they were not packed in there very tightly. Typical berberine HCL dosing is generally 500 mg - 1200 mg. With the nano grind these may actually be more effective than a higher dose of less finely ground berberine however I have not had a chance to actually try them out yet. Since this is a new product and it's being offered at a great price I still think it's probably a good deal. I would have bought more than one at this price even with the noted issues I have. However I think it's important that the company take the feedback to heart and make corrections so that proper dosing and labeling according to what's in each capsule and in the package is corrected so there's no confusion and people are getting what they are told they're getting.

These are a great value since they come in a two pack! I’ll definitely be trying these out for my hunt for appetite control. So far they have worked well.
