Surprisingly durable
I bought these for a three-day backpacking trip in the desert because I had to carry in all of my water. I filled one of these and carried it in my backpack to refill my water bottles. It survived the mild jostling of being pulled in and out of the bag a few times a day. Not a single leak. I'm not sure how many trips these bags could handle but they did their job for a three-day trip plus a couple of day hikes.

Used these on a rough 10 day backpacking trip in Colorado and they were fantastic. I was purifying water with tablets so these were perfect to fill up and have enough water for a couple days at camp. They were lightweight and pack down to a small size as well which was awesome. They survived the trip and I'm planning on having them for years to come!

Worked as expected
I purchased this for a 10-day hiking trip at Philmont Scout Ranch. We used them to haul water to our campsite when the water supply was a ways away. They worked as expected. My only complaint is that I wish the openings were a little bit larger, but for the price, they were exactly what we needed.

Absolutely perfect for my hydration filtration strategies
Absolutely perfect for my hydration filtration strategies. This product fold up light and will become our main water storage for our five day camp trip. No need to hike in water using this as my Water filtration clean water bladder to compliment my Platypus filtration system.

Not pleased
Took too long to finally get them and they are very thin. Not thick as I expected

Great Flat Pack Water Carriers
These are great water carriers. They pack flat (unlike my old 2.5 gal collapsible thing), don't like, and are super cheap for what you get. We used them in Wyoming, and I will continue to use them.

Not for camping usage
Writer rec'd 2 clear plastic containers for $10.00 Canadian.Plastic is not soft construction like usual containers for water for the camping industry, which seems quite different. The opening spout is quite small and will be useless for filling at a camping station. Another reviewer indicated that the jug would be useful when operating a kayaking due to size, I totally agree , most importantly though one could fill at home where water is easily regulated for filling.........If you have done any camping , those spigots are impossible to regulate properly .I would recommend another vessel with a larger wide mouth opening for an enjoyable camping experience.Since we kayak a lot & paid only 10 bucks, we will keep both units for our kayaking experiences .Writer not gifted or paid for review.
