Japanese Super Large Vegetable Turning Slicer made in JAPAN

It slices cabbage very finely and is easy to operate which saves you from chopping your cabbage with a knife. It's also adjustable where you can slice cabbage very finely for garnishing but it needed to have the adjustments for a slightly larger cut for my use so I had to return it. It is an excellent product 👌.

This cabbage slicer works great! It’s amazing how well it does the job and it’s not even electric. I like my cabbage salad sliced very thin and this slicer can do exactly that. Blade is extremely sharp (I found that out the harder way), so be careful when cleaning it. I found that easiest way to clean access cabbage is by using that same long pin that we stick in the cabbage head. I like that thickness can be adjusted by turning the butterfly screw from underneath. Main reason for my purchase was major difference when compared with some plastic horizontal $25 slicers. It si lot easier to push the handle and cabbage head down while slicing and mechanism that moves the blade back and forth prevents cabbage head getting stuck in the blade which was a hustle with horizontal slicer. All in all it is pricey product but definitely the best cabbage slicer I ever used.

If I can give this 6 stars, I would. This product is AWESOME! Really easy to set up, easy to adjust, and easy to use! Literally. All you have to do is stick your cabbage in and spin! It only took me less than 2 minutes to shred a cabbage. Love it!

I decided that thin sliced cabbage would help me lose weight. I slice a whole cabbage at a time, add vinegar, and then I’m good to go for a week or two when keeping it refrigerated. I hate slicing cabbage with a knife. A mandolin is too small, plus too dangerous for me. A food processor sucks at doing a good, consistent job. Then I found this wonder machine: I can slice an entire cabbage as thin as I want in less than a few minutes. Cleanup almost takes longer, but is total Worth it. So is the high price tag: Imo totally worth it. If you like to add thinly sliced cabbage to your food, this is the non plus ultra machine to get. The Rolls Royce of cabbage slicing!

These designers really set to task to make the best and did! I love making sauerkraut. I am good with a knife, too much work, tried a food processor, too much work and too hard to clean, tried a mandolin slicer, even more work and scary dangerous sometimes, and still hard to clean! I rarely have a tool for just one thing in my kitchen, but in this case I made an exception. I am so glad I did. I bought it a pretty significant discount, but having used it, I probably would pay full price for it. It didn't just make the slicing easier but it was finer so it brined up more easily, and fermented more quickly. Completely improved the kraut making process. So much better overall!

You only get angel hair cabbage with this cutter. There is no blade of a differnt design or tilt nor is there any way to change the tilt of the blade. It is permanently fixed and will cut only angel hair slices. I like my cabbage cut thicker than angel hair, so it doesn't stick together like angel hair does.

It’s easy to use and easy to clean, it works the best for cabbage only, if you need lots of cabbage it’s for you.
