    Don’t buy this mask.

It’s hard to mess up something as simple as a sleep mask but Ecotools has done it.1. First off, the cotton is not soft to the touch. When worn, tiny rough fibers scratch and poke the skin.2. It is very tight. I have a small head (kid-sized) and this thing is tight, even with the strap fully extended.3. The strap is connected to the mask with a dime-sized hard plastic ring that presses into the side of the head when lying down. Why not sew the strap instead?4. The strap adjustment is also made of hard plastic, but as a bonus, has a tiny plastic extrusion that will scratch the hand or ear if not careful.Wish I could return it. Good thing it’s eco-friendly, because it’s going in the trash.

I love this sleep mask! I have gotten into the habit of not being able to fall asleep unless I am wearing a sleep mask on my face, however I'm super particular about the feel that I need. I love the terrycloth fabric, and it feels soft and comforting without being heavy. The strap around is adjustable. The only downside is that sometimes the plastic piece that adjusts (almost like a bra strap) can land on my ear and be somewhat uncomfortable if that's the side I am sleeping on. However, I still give 5 stars because this totally fits everything else that I need!

I’ve used EcoTools sleep masks for years now. They’re my favorite! I like them because of the adjustable strap - it’s a sliding piece, not a Velcro strip like most adjustable straps. This makes the mask last much longer, and it doesn’t get stuck to your hair.These sleep masks are lightweight and do a good job blocking light.However, the material is not as soft as it used to be (hence the four-star rating). It takes several wears to break in, and even then, it’s not as comfortable as the old ones were.
