California Bundle - 25+ Stems / 6 Species Live Aquarium Plants Package

I am very happy with the package of plants that I received from Aquarium Plants & Pets. The package arrived earlier than expected via USPS. I am extremely fortunate that the Bay Area was not experiencing a heat wave this week as the box was cardboard and not insulated. So if you live in a very hot location, please make sure to bring this inside the house as soon as possible. The plants were inside a gallon sized bag (which was very filled to the brim with plants - a plus!) still moist despite being in the post for a few days. As described, there were multiple stems of a number of the plants. The seller was kind enough to include a page of instructions for the care and maintenance of the plants I received. Per the instructions, the seller recommended that I put these in the aquarium straight away. Because I got home late last night, I quickly drove to PetSmart to pick up some additional substrate. There were six varieties of plants included in my bag. Being very new with my aquarium tank hobby, I must confess I had no clue which plant was what, but 5 of the 6 varieties were clipped together with a metal band which was helpful when I transferred them each into aquarium pots. I secured my plants with some pebble and into the tank (an outdoor 20 gallon container pot with a biowheel filter + water heater) they went. A small suggestion for the seller would be if you could be kind enough to label which bunch was which plant, I think that'd be wonderful - or at a minimum, perhaps a photo array of the plants you put in the bag? I also want to address the conditions of the plants once I took them out of the bag. As expected (and he did warn me in his instructions), some of the leaves did fall out and the plants did look a bit limpy. I checked on the plants the next morning and sure enough, they were starting to perk up. My filter did end up catching some large bits of plant debris that fell out overnight, but nothing that would worry me. I appreciate the seller offering to replace any plants that didn't make the transit. I think my batch will survive (and maybe thrive!) once I give it some time to grow. I will take some pictures of my plants in a week or so once they've recovered from their transit.

There were some issues with tracking this item through the sellers preferred shipping method. It took a fair deal longer to arrive than I would have liked given the nature of it. I originally requested the seller reship and in about two weeks time I got the order 2 times about a week apart. Out of both shipments I got my moneys worth in healthy plants. Some of them didn’t survive but again, if I hadn’t received a repeat shipment I would have been much less satisfied with the quality. As a result of my unique experience it’s really hard to say. Overall the crypts and the other broad leaf plants in both packages had really healthy root systems and are thriving. The moneywort from the first shipment is doing great as well. Both shipments had varied types but the crypts and hornwort were the same. Not bad for the price but again, I have a unique situation due to the seller sending it out twice in fear of the original shipment being lost in the post. A+ for customer service though.

Great quality, some reviews had me scared. A couple were a little rough but they’re already rebounding.

Less than thrilled over nothing still having leaves. So I stuck green sticks in the gravel... No idea what anything is, so I know I'll have to move everything, IF they live. A couple of the sticks are putting out leaves.

It was a hot week and I got nervous while these were being shipped. They showed up looking a little wilted but overall not bad! Dropped them in the tank and crossing my fingers that they will adapt

These plants are advertised as beautiful plants. The plants I received today are terrible! They are basically just stems with no leaves. The moss was ok but all other plants are a total loss. The package was retrieved from my mailbox within minutes of delivery to my home so they did not get hot. I am terribly disappointed and would NOT recommend his seller.
