SuperEze Ice Cream & Cookie Dough Scoop made from Stainless Steel (3 Piece Scoop Set)

[UPDATE 10/2/17: After posting my initial review with two stars, I was contacted by the company to see if they could do anything to remedy the issue. He apologized profusely and offered to send me a whole new set for free. Only the smallest scoop was faulty (the other two are still working just fine), so I did not really want the entire set and instead took a partial refund for the small scoop. The company refunded me more than I asked for and again apologized that I had gotten a faulty scooper. I cannot attest that I received a working scooper in place of the faulty one, but I don't doubt that the company will work hard (and quickly) with any customer to ensure a working product is delivered. Response time from the company was very fast and within one day I was given the refund. I think the excellent customer service is enough to update the review to five stars.]Not great quality. The smallest scoop is perfect for baking cookies, and the one I would use the most. That one, unfortunately, came with a loose piece. Every time I would use the scoop, it would come apart due to the loose piece and I'd have to push the pieces back together and sort of hold it together while I use it, which was annoying, but slightly less annoying than using a spoon. Then after the second use it broke off completely and I can no longer use it at all. I didn't really need the other sizes, it was just nice to have a full set in case I needed bigger sizes, so now it feels like I've wasted $40 on a scooper that wasn't even made correctly.I uploaded a photo and pointed at the piece that broke off.

We bought this set 1 1/3 years ago and ALL THREE have broken already. We are so disappointed that we had to come back to Amazon, look up our old order, and post a review to warn people. We don't typically post reviews but we had to do it this time. Even if another set costs more money, you should buy the other set, unless you only plan to use them a few times before you discard them. In that case, and that case only, this might be your best choice.

The middle scoop was unassembled and required strong bending to get the handle engaged properly with the wheel. We were going to send it back and then were able to get it working but we are concerned that it will come disengaged again. When scooping, the handles do not work smoothly, there's a bit of a catch to them. Our only experience with this type of scoop was a Pampered Chef brand and I wish we would have bought those instead, though they are more expensive. We will do some baking and try them out before deciding whether they are worth having. The price was reasonable considering you get three different size scoops which is what we were wanting.

I am disappointed because on the second batch of cookies the scoop broke and had to be discarded. I have used other brands in the past that hold up, and for this one to break so soon, I would recommend trying a different brand.

Some assembly required. There are gears to allow the friction of the scoop. I had to put the handle on the gear. So far so good I have used them 3 times in the past 2 weeks and so far they have been great. Quality I give 4 stars because they are not the heaviest metal I have seen but they are definitely not the cheapest. Great buy for the price

Arrived a little bit later than promised; but, very happy with the scoops. Heavy gauge steel as promised. The mid sized scoop trigger was unattended when I opened my package; but, I was able to easily fix. I highly recommend this product to everyone. Professional quality. Can see them lasting for decades. Thanks.

When I first received the cookie scoops the medium sized one was broken; the handle was not connected. I contacted the seller and got a return merchandise code and took the item to UPS, who packed it up and shipped it back. Less than 2 weeks later I received a brand new order of 3 cookie scoops. I'm going to share the extra ones with the other bakers in my family. Totally recommend this product.

The middle size was perfect for cookies. Good quality, dough releases cleanly and easily. I made multiple batches of cookies, froze the dough balls, then bagged them up for freezer storage. Now I can have fresh baked cookies whenever I want
