The Godfather Tarot: Includes: A 78-card Tarot Deck and a Book on the Corleone Family and its History

Two of my favorite things in one, I love The Godfather so having a deck themed around it is awesome, love the art style so much and the references are all great, some of them don't always make sense for the actual card meaning but it's one of my favorite decks ever!

These cards are really cool and they are a great Tarot deck to use if you want to ask questions about friends and family as well as forgiveness and inner work within your own self. The only downfall I did not like about this deck was the paper that the cards were printed on. It was very difficult to shuffle and if you do Shuffle with these make sure you split your deck in half and Shuffle that half of the deck first to loosen up the cards a little bit more if you can. The paper is a little hard to describe but it's not glossy and it's not real stiff it's pretty flimsy but the cards have a tendency to stick together. Note: if you happen to have the Alice in Wonderland or one of the Walt Disney tarot decks, yeah, its printed on that same kind of paper. I can't really identify what kind of paper this is and printed on but it is difficult to shuffle the cards. Other than that, if you know the movie really well, and you love doing tarot like me, then these cards are a good fit for you. But if you don't know the Godfather movie all that well, then don't get these tarot cards cuz you're not going to understand them. The cards are the same, major and minor Arcana, but the themes are different than most tarot cards. This is not only a Godfather theme but each one of the tarot cards represents something that has to do with a message from the movie and that's the way all tarot decks are created. We can memorize what the cards mean in general, but each deck is created differently Through The Eyes of the person who created it from their point of view. In this case, this deck is created from the point of view of the movie, though the cards still have almost the same meaning. But like I said the only downfall is the type of cardstock paper they are printed on, other than that, it's a nice deck to have especially if you're a movie lover like me. It also comes in a nice flip-top box with a booklet briefly in a few words, identifying the meanings of each card, though the meanings of the cards are actually printed on them, but the booklet tells a nice little story in a brief description of these cards by the author and creator of this deck, Wil Corona Pilgrim.

The cards are ugly the designs as well I’m sorry I bought it - it doesn’t do justice to this HISTORICAL ICONIC MASTERPIECE TRILOGY IN AMERICAN FILM INDUSTRY.

First and foremost, the box that hold the deck and the guidebook is HUGE and I LOVE it! There’s no losing this. It’s about the size of a Harry Potter book (one of the later, slightly taller ones).I think what’s extra special about this deck, is not only the attention to detail, but the guidebook is short and sweet with 2-3 word descriptions of the cards, but the first half is the story of the Corleone family, with photos!I just think that was a super cool touch, and necessary for any god father fan.

This is magnificent deck the are not flimsy or cheap made. But the box is not sturdy and do not close ,you can't put the card back again. Need bag for deck anyway 5 star.

If you love Godfather trilogy don't wait and have this deck in your collection. you need to know about to movie & characters to use this deck & it's not for beginners. I thought I'll be receiving an unused deck but the box & the deck was opened, probably someone returned it but I wish Amazon mentioned this on the page, that it's an opened box & possibly used.

I would say this deck isn't for beginners nor for those who don't really know the Godfather book and movies as it's really pretty specifically focused on that topic. The guidebook is unorthodox which fits my taste but it could be uneasy for tarot beginners. I strongle recommend this tarot deck to Godfather fans who are also interested in tarot for a while (yes, I guess it's not a huge demographic but I can't be the only one, right? :-)
