Big improvement in spin
Love this tool. It was pricey but seems like it will last. Saw an immediate difference after sharpening the wedges and now going to refresh all my iron grooves.

BEST Groove Sharpener Hands Down!
If you are looking for a high quality groove sharpener that will restore your clubs to USGA specifications, quickly and easily, then this is the tool. Look no further because as far as I know, there is no other groove tool that even compares. Made in the USA with the best carbide available (you will never dull it), it brings your clubs back into like-new condition, ensuring that they stay legally within USGA rules. It even has a lifetime warranty to boot.I tried it first on my worn-out, 20-year old sand wedge, and WOW, what a gigantic difference! Amazing how sharp it made the grooves and how easily it made the club spin the ball. Just as good as new. Then used it on all of my irons and they are as good as factory. The tool doesn't even look like it's been used and is as sharp as it was new. I'm thoroughly impressed, and as an engineer that's difficult to do. Great job GrooVex!

Works Great!
I used this on my older, forged clubs and it made a huge difference. The fist pitch I hit with my lob wedge after sharpening stuck to the green like velcro. My partners were amazed and commented on the amount of backspin the shot had. NOTE - It's nearly impossible to shapren your grooves without scratching the chrome face a little at the end of each groove so if your someone who is meticulous about the looks of your clubs you may not want to use this. GrooVex recommends using painters tape on the face, but it still scratches. Clamping a popsicle stick the club face some how may prevent this. I haven't tried that yet. My clubs are old, so I don't mind. The improved backspin is worth the marks to me.

Built to last for many uses
This product helps sharpen and clean out your club grooves to get your spin and feel back. Unlike the cheap versions this one is built to last for multiple uses. For someone who has 5 sets of clubs I needed more than a 1-2 use tool. Use a towel to catch the scrapings as the rounded edges are sharpened up. The worn metal will come out in some small shavings you will want to do outside or catch on a towel. I do agree that the instructions could be more clear on the two different heads of the tool and how to use. I found covering the end I wasn’t using with the cap helps to not get cuts on your hand as you scrape out your grooves. All in all a solid product and helpful to get more years out of your clubs.

Works as advertised.
The proof is when you hit a shot. They definitely grab now.

Way too short
It is sharp, but it is too short. There are blade on both end, using one end the other end may cut the webspace between the first and 2nd finger. I have a small hand....

An incredibly well made, durable product
The minute you pick it up you can tell that it is an amazingly solid, well made piece of equipment. It is sharp, and stays sharp. After 12 clubs it was still just as sharp as on the first one. It takes some time to get the feel of it. If the groove is sharp, it slides through easily, and you can move to the next one, but if the groove is rough, it is much harder to move through as you have metal to cut.,The downside? It is small, and has no real handle, so it is somewhat difficult to use. If you had a way to clamp the head in place, it would be easier to use that free-form, the way I used it.
