Not only do they let me hang curtains in my apartment even with the ugly blinds protruding into the room, but installation was faster and easier than a wall-mounted rod. My sliding glass door looks 100x better.

The screw to tighten a bracket is on the top, so no issues about being close to the wall. Also, the screw can be used with a Phillips OR straight screw driver. I'm 77 and it took less than 10 minutes to put up the brackets and hang my new curtains. Buy these. You won't be sorry.

I am so glad I purchases these! They were easy to install and a great way to hang curtains without needing to screw brackets into the wall (great for apartments!). They’re also really sturdy. I have a large patio door and windows that are both wide and tall, so I was a bit nervous they wouldn’t handle the weight of the curtains. I needn’t worry; I installed these three weeks ago and the three brackets have held up well. *Sorry for the poor quality photo, it was storming while I took it so the lighting was weird.
