I have watched Ian’s YouTube videos and purchased many classes from him. Ian’s style of teaching is very organized and he gives you practical ways to implement what you have learned into your practice and marches. This book has excellent steps to improve your tennis game with QR codes and plans to implement the steps. The QR code links to short videos that give further explain action and examples. This is the best part of the book! I recommend this book to anyone who is serious about trying to improve their tennis game at any level. Ian makes the improvement strategies easy to understand and fun to put into practice! Well written and enjoyable read! My book arrived damaged and I kept it but now I want a replacement because I know I will read this over and over again and want to keep this in my library for years to come.

I really liked how Ian put together a lot of stuff from all the years I've been following him on video. In this book you will definitely find something helpful regardless of your level, but be ready to spend time and effort on the changes you are hoping to make in your game, because there is no magical shortcut!

I have read many tennis book and if I had to recommend one to my best friend, that would be this one from Essential Tennis. Ian has done a fantastic job combining keys items from the mental, tactical and technical side of tennis in a super easy to read format! The book is well completed by online videos (via QR code) which really make the experience complete. Honestly, do not go any further, this is the best tennis book which I have read several times now! Thanks Ian!!!
