I find that everything Espoma works! Bio-Tone puts food and fungi and beneficial bacteria in the soil to almost 100% guarantee healthy roots and a robust plant! Follow their instructions and learn about the needs of what you are planting and everything cared for in this way will do well! I am using their products 20 years and this is my experience! Works great!

I used this when planting new flowers and a small shrub in the yard. It was easy to mix into the soil before placing the plants, and the bag size is practical if you have several things to plant. The texture is not hard to work with, but it does have a noticeable smell when first opened, so I would rather use it outdoors than inside. I like that it is made for starter planting instead of regular feeding, because it feels more useful when moving plants into the ground or starting a new garden bed. I can’t say it magically changes everything right away, but it gives me more confidence that the roots are getting a better start. Overall, it is a practical product for planting flowers, shrubs, or vegetables, especially if you want something simple to add during planting.

Flourishing and abundant growth of newly planted plants compared to not adding Bio-tone. Will buy them every year. Bit pricey but worth of the results.
