So I'm impressed! I read the review and was hopeful but this is great! I followed the tips and directions. Put them in the cool oven and let it heat up, bake for 40 mins, then cool down with them in. I scrubbed them and tried to scratch off the paint with my nail and the paint held strong. I dont own a dishwasher so I can't tell you if they hold up to that but I'd be shocked if they didn't. I scrubbed hard! Love this product and will definitely buy again!Ps: I used the gold. More of a neutral antique gold than a bright yellow or orangey gold.

These markers are awesome! A little Windex and my writing came right off (before baking!). The ink does dry really fast so if you are doing any overlapping, make it quick or else the ink will clump. You can see a little clumping on the g-a-r in the word "sugar" in my pictures. The gold is metallic and I tried to show the shine in my second picture. Worked perfectly on the Room Essentials mug I purchased at Target. I've also used the Threshold brand mugs from Target and it worked. Only gave 4 stars due to the clumping, but that's more operator error. I put my mug on a baking sheet rather than straight on the rack. Let heat up and cool down in the oven. Start your timer once your oven is pre-heated. Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Hard to beat. Highly recommend!

This marker is great for ceramics (I even used it on Corelle) BUT it's important to blot test with the paint pen before you start writing. The pen has a tendency to seep when you push down to get the pain flowing, so do this on a piece of paper before you do it on your ceramics. You may have to do it each time you pick up the pen after it lays around for a while. Just something to keep in mind. Otherwise, this pen is great! Wonderful coverage and fun to work with for crafts.

Super easy to use and clean up, baked well and stayed on when I test handwashed the mugs (I dont own a dishwasher so I couldnt test them in one). I used it on gifts for my bridesladies so they havent gotten them yet to be able to use them, but they definitely look cool.

Beautiful stencil, they just ripped up way to easily, the small parts in between letters ripped off almost instantly leaving my design a little distorted. They didn’t stick too well so etching cream and paint leaked where it was not supposed to be. I would recommend something more sturdy.

Washed off after two months of use. Not happy. The Oriental Trading ones are cheaper and stayed on mug. Used both to see what we liked for a craft for a birthday party. So glad I didn't invest in more of this brand.

I made mugs as a gift, and the reviews are great! Does as promised. I will update this once I know better how it sustains over time.

I've used several of these on ceramics and have had no problems with bleeding.

Not the shade of gold I wanted but still a gold that I would use with other colours.

It's not a great pen, I was disappointed. Fun to play around with if you like arts and crafts, but the ink doesn't take or stick very well or go on smoothly. I used them for a gift, but I probably won't use them again.
