Sturdy Ladder Rack With Plenty of Capacity
I installed this MELIPRON ladder rack on a Chevy Express work van and have been pleased with it so far. The rack feels heavy-duty and solid once everything is tightened down, and the rain-gutter mounting design makes it a good option for these vans without having to modify the roof. There is plenty of room for carrying ladders and other long materials, and the advertised 850 lb capacity gives it a substantial, commercial-duty feel. Installation takes a little time to get everything positioned and aligned correctly, but it is fairly straightforward. Once installed, the rack feels secure and does exactly what I needed it to do. For a contractor or anyone using a Chevy Express as a work van, this is a practical way to add a lot more carrying capability without spending a fortune. 5 stars — strong, functional, and a good fit for a work van.

DOES NOT FIT 2025 CHEVY EXPRESS
Do not buy this ladder rack for a 2025 Chevy express. The clamps do not fit the gutter. There is no way to secure the rack to the roof. Others have left similar feedback but I bought anyway. Thought maybe they were doing something wrong. There is no way to make this work on Chevy express.

Good price but...
Good price on racks but had to modify one clamp so as not to interfere with the side doors on my Ford E250 van. Also had to get some longer bolts for the four vertical clamp adjusters. Crossbars came scratched in several places. I had to spray paint them to keep them from rusting.

Works great
Is working great, took less than two hours to install with two people. Can’t beat the price. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a basic ladder rack, can’t beat the price.
