I first became acquainted with this style INGEAR sun shirt when I was vacationing in a very hot sunny place. The shirt I bought then did a great job of protecting my arms and chest from sunburn. I also live in a summertime hot sunny place and decided this year to buy more of these shirts to protect me when I am out gardening, etc. I am a 5'9" woman who weighs 150 lbs. and I long ago learned that shopping in the men's departments for some basic casual tops was the only way to get sleeves long enough. I bought these shirts in size Men's Medium from Amazon, based on the chest size measurement chart, and they have just slightly boxy, slightly relaxed fit I wanted without being sloppy looking. The fabric is what is most important: The blend is polyester/spandex, which is lightweight, smooth and silky, drapes nicely, and, because of the spandex it stretches, which adds to the comfort as well as when I want to push up the sleeves they stay up. Most of the "sun protection" shirts out there are polyester only. I tried one of these and was most unhappy -- it felt stiff and hot to wear, even indoors. My only quibble is that the shirts arrive folded in a package (of course) and the creases are difficult to remove as they cannot be ironed or washed in hot water or dried with heat. I did try a light touch with the iron on the nylon setting and had some success. And while the shirts are generally comfortable to wear on even quite warm days, I find that exertion outdoors in the sun on hot days (85 degrees plus) makes them uncomfortably warm to wear. I would not recommend them for long bicycle rides on high temperature days, for instance. But they work perfectly for my needs.

The shirt is great. Fabric is light, sort of like a "Dry fit" type material. Only thing I would say is that they do run a little large. I was recommended a XXL and it is much too big. Other than that, it's great

Many, many complements received; highly functional and very comfortable.

Color was as pictured and fit was standard. Only drawback was the reverse stitching that puts the seems on the outside of the shirt sleeves.

The shirt seems ok. The problem is it smelled very strongly of detergent. I'm not overly sensitive to smells but this was ridiculous. I could smell it before I opened the bubble wrap shipping envelope (it was inside its own bag in the envelope). I washed it by itself - still stunk. Soaked it in vinegar - no luck. Finally doused it in pet stain/odor remover. That worked, but then it smelled like the odor remover. After a few more washes it should be fine.If this were on sale for 90% off I wouldn't buy it again if it risked smelling like this.

fits great, comfy, strechy and the color is a lot richer and brighter than the picture. very bright, greenish neon yellow. i love it !

El color es intenso lo cual es bueno, pero la tela es bastante delgada, esperaba fueseas gruesa. Si eres Belludo no se ve bien.

These are affordable, relaxed in size and perfect for this Dad bod hitting the beach. I am very active, paddle outriggers several times a week, and yet still appreciate good food and beer - okay I really love beer - so I need a looser fitting rashie than the usual branded and overpriced versions. I now have four of these and the XL fits true to my XL size. I bought a couple XXLs and they are okay, too, just a bit more relaxed. This is by far the best SPF50 rash guard I have found for the money. The high viz colours are great if you are paddling offshore (safety first) and they definitely work for sun protection.

This UPF shirt fits perfectly and arrived on time. I use it for bicycle riding and the bright colour helps make me more visible.
