LOVE this gel istg it’s perfect for my hair! My hair is a little bit on the fine side, thick, a mix of 2c to 3a and lower porosity. For me I put it on and it clumps my curls perfectly and feels nice and moisturizing on my hair. I’ve never had any greasiness with it, though my hair overall never gets greasy. It smells lovely and the amount of product in the bottle is great, tho I’ll admit it’s still a little pricy. I will take and brush in the multi-cultural styler with my hair upside down and then I’ll rake some of this gel through though I mostly use it to scrunch. If you have hair like mine, this is an excellent product!

This item needs more than 5 stars. It deserves every single award for hair care and softness and keeping my curls. Thank you Miss Jessie I shall be buying more of this product and the rest of the line just because it is simple the best. I am not a big fan of twisting my hair after every wash, sometimes I like the natural form of the curls (majority of times), so I went through all the reviews and happened to read a lot on this item so I decided to give it a try. My hair type is 3B and I am a mixed Caribbean woman so all that beautiful cohesion is also represented in my hair. Now with all that kink there are very few products that actually works in holding the curls whether twisted or not. After the first use of this item just rubbing a small amount on half wet hair the results are amazing. The curls started forming immediately and I fell asleep on them :( when I woke up to think I will be seeing a big poof as I probably should I woke to amazing curls, already formed and in place and all i had to do was push the strays in place. Not only that, my hair is so soft. Now the true test lies in the overnight process, again without wrapping my hair etc I slept with my hair down. When I woke my curls are still there (a bit crushed of course) however after re-applying a small amount and rubbing in my hair the curls seem rejuvenated and back to life. My hair is literally curls goddess right now. I keep getting so much compliments I think I have to share this secret with them :). Again thank you Miss Jessie, thank you for understanding a mix woman hair and curls, I cant wait to use the other products in your line.

This is THE hair gel to choose. Forget the rest. I have tried them all for my low porosity fine 3c curls. This gel smells amazing, applies easy, and my curls are super bouncy and soft without the crunch after drying.

I've been wanting to try this product for a while, and now that I have, I really like it. It smells like clean laundry, which i thought I was going to dislike but I'm actually obsessed with the scent. I like this for when I don't want a gel cast. It's thick but not too much and my curls don't feel dry after I've diffused.

Really lightweight gel. Does not weigh down my wavy hair. Gives little hold and definition without leaving my hair crunchy. Love it.

I LOVE this product so so much - it's great for 1st, 2nd and 3rd day hair even...I swear by this after some leave in conditioner! Make sure you scrunch though, it really helps to get the most out of the product and increases the volume of your curls!

This review is for delivery. Package arrived late and they did not secure top onto the container and therefore the product had spilled all over the inside of the package. Not sure how much was lost. It’s was a huge mess. Very disappointed! The product itself is fantastic. I find that mixing it with Miss Jessie’s multicultural curls provides the best results for my curls. Gives the right balance of moisture and softness that I like. The texture, weight, thickness and smell of the product is great.

I've been using it for a long time and never had any problems, it smells good, does the job well and doesn't come off as flaky.
