SU960EA - Gel-X Absorbent Capsules, (Use In Pouches) 140/Btl

Owner of a permanent iliostomy for a year now, I can't say enough I'm how these pills have made a huge difference for me. I struggled with leakage and frustration! No more of that! I put a pill in my pouch after every change and cleaning, and I don't worry any more. I went to dinner for the first time in a year and had the time of my life with no worries. It was awesome! And I can sleep through the night without constantly checking and going to empty every other hour. People complain the pills just sit there or don't dissolve; they do when any kind of wet hits them. I just let them do their thing and go about enjoying this precious life God has given me.

This product was a game changer for my mother! She has an ileostomy with a high output which made it hard for her to go out. With this product she can leave home and feel safe that her pouch will not fail her. Thank you!!

If you think about it, the tablets sit on the bottom of the bag, after covered up with BM the tablet don’t seem to be beneficial. I suggest investing in the bags that don’t empty and change them more often to avoid smell.

I typically use another product, but my new insurance no longer covers it so I thought I would give these a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they worked. I use two each night in my bag at bedtime and they definitely do the job! Glad I was able to find a product that works for less than what I usually pay.

I read the reviews, was thrilled to maybe get a product that was affordable and worked. Read all the reviews, most said it was better than the rest of the products. Extremely disappointed! We have been using the Diamonds, (expensive) which do an okay job, but don’t care for the dirty hands and black tint to the fluid in the bags. But over all, it thickens the stool to make it less messy. These pills were a total waste of money, her output was pure liquid with 2, then 4 of the pills... nothing was jelled or thickened. Waste of money.

Being a ostomate I tried Diamonds and others like it. Those did work somewhat. I tried this by using 2 pills in my ostomy bag and it literally turned liquid into a gel substance and I mean all of it not just some. Made it easier to empty..

These really work in my Ileostomy pouch. Have used them for over a year now.
