Great tea pot for brewing loose tea. Just pour the proper temperature of water over tea leaves, brew, and pour! You should know that the lid fits only when the diffuser is in place, so the tea will continue to brew unless you take it out. The resulting problem is that the tea cools rapidly without a lid. I bought a similar tea pot from QVC (it has a partial plastic cover for the glass pot) that solves this problem; the diffuser can be removed and the lid replaced.

Works very well. It was easy to clean and leaves very few, very tiny of flecks in the tea. Makes enough for four people to have a good mug of tea.

I have rated this product as awful because it developed a crack where the handle attaches after just a few weeks of use. I regret to make this low rating because it was exactly what I wanted, perfect size and worked great for me and I used it every morning. I hesitate to order again when I can't be sure of product quality and dependability.

The tea strainer keeps tea leaves out of the water as long as you use big enough tea leaves. The strainer is also very easy to clean by just rinsing out the leaves.The only issue I'm having with this is that the lid I got isn't perfectly circular so it tends to get stuck in the strainer if I close it too hard. The metal is thin enough so that I can just bend it into shape but consumers shouldn't have to immediately fix products they receive new. 1 star off for that little issue.Other than that I thinks it's very nice and I can recommend it to others.

This is a lovely teapot. Very simple, yet elegant. The infuser makes using loose tea so much easier than using tea balls, and it's easier to clean too! There are a number of teas that I think have a better taste when I buy them loose instead of in teabags. If you use herbs for medicinal purposes, it's super easy to make teas from them using the infuser in this teapot.You can also leave the infuser out and place a blooming tea flower inside! Those make wonderful floral teas that taste as good as they look.I drink tea throughout the day. Black tea, Jasmine tea, floral teas, herbal teas, green tea, Oolong tea, I just love tea. And this lovely Star Seven Glass Teapot really adds to my tea drinking experience.Since I cook a LOT of Asian dishes (why go out to Asian restaurants for it when you can make it at home all the time?), this teapot fits in perfectly with my table settings and the food I serve.I do love this tea pot!I received a sample of this product in exchange for my honest review.

My wife loves the look of this teapot and describes it as "charming" and "dainty." She ordered the 950ml teapot (which holds roughly 32 oz) because it's the perfect size for her and my daughter who both drink tea on a daily basis.The box that it arrived in was thin but the teapot was wrapped in both bubble wrap and tissue paper for protection.The stainless steel basket holds loose tea leaves as well as tea bags and washes easily without any staining or residue. The holes are very fine and so far she hasn't had any problems with loose leaves getting through and into her tea. The basket also lifts easily out of the pot so you can remove it when your tea reaches the desired strength.A definite plus to mention (that my wife is very happy about) is that the handle never gets hot. 👍So far it looks and works great. It's also  easy to care for and clean. The only thing that might be considered a slight negative is that the glass is rather thin and requires a little precaution. I imagine dropping it would not end well. Barring that, it should last many years with proper care.*I received this product for free or at a reduced cost for providing a fair review. A great teapot once you learn the trick to pouring - hold it high above your cup. The metal parts are on the thinner side, but what else can be expected for the price. Shipping is on the slower side.Updated: A year later, still a great teapot. The insert seems to have warped a bit, but a twist to the right or left tightens it into place. Also, make sure to hold the lid when pouring the bottom half of the contents. Otherwise it drops into your cup.

Everything is as expected. One thing is annoying, which is everytime you try to pour it empty, like right in half way, the cap will loose and fall and mostly likely falls into your cup/mug. It's so annoying that if only you forget to hold the cap by hand for one time, it will become real frustrating because u literally ruined ur morning coffee for something that you are not suppose to remember to do. Very annoying!
