Good read
Great book one. Lots of twists. Can't wait to start book two. Is James or Dan the main character though?

Good story but muddled prose.
This was a good find. I'm a sucker for a good book about Nazis and the Vatican, and it's various plots and secrets. HOWEVER, the author should invest in some better beta readers, a good grammar checker, and spell checker. He flips between tenses; has improper use of possessive nouns , and often gets confused on usage of things like 'to' and 'too'. This made an otherwise excellent book a chore to decipher. I'd recommend the book for anyone as it's a really good read. If there weren't so many typos, and grammar errors it would be a 5-star review.

Wish Someone Would Edit These Books Better
I thought the storyline was really interesting. The author did his research well and wrote a really good book.Too bad whomever edited his book did such a crummy job. The book jumps back and forth from last the present tense. Basic grammar and punctuation is abused terribly. Random words appear in the middle of sentences as if the author wrote a sentence, decided not to keep it, so backspace part of the sentence, but didn't backspace all of the words he wished to change, leaving one random word in the middle of his new sentence.I would recommend this book to any reader, but with the following caveat: TRY not to let the very, very poor editing job detract from the story; the author out together a well-written book, but his publisher and editor did him a great disservice by doing a horrible job of editing.

This well written book. The ending actually bamboozled me . Really looking forward to follow with the next adventure! Hard to beleve the mind of the guy that wrote it,

the publisher should try spending a few bucks on a proof reader
I would have given the book 5 stars but for the fact that it w as so poorly printed others were words left out and extra ones added in-tenses were changed in mid sentence-where was spelled we're (just one example of many) and it seemed like there were mistakeson every other page bit was very annoying-very poor editing

One of the best books I have ever read
One of the best books I have ever read. Yes, there are some editing issues, but for me they did not affect the story- I paid under 3$ for it, so I expected some mistakes. The story was what kept me reading it to the end: many and diverse characters, all involved in the plot, WWII history and present alternating for a great story.

Great Story
The Vatican's Last Secret was a great read. The premise was believable and the story itself was action-packed and fast paced with lots of surprises. The downside was the number of English, spelling, and punctuation that grew more prolific toward the end of the book. The one that cracked me up was the line about the "vaulted" skills of the VIA. I'm sure he meant "vaunted." He also needs to brush up on plurals, apostrophes, homonyms, and the use of to and too. I think this is a symptom of the computer age and auto-correct. It's a shame that errors like these had to detract from the story.

So bad it's good
No proof reading, no editor, no thought. This is just someone doing a braindump. If they put some effort it in it could be good. I read the whole thing but so many times I wanted to throw it away. There are so many good thrillers out there don't waste your money like i did

Intense with passion and humanity.
The Vatican should be concerned, even thought it’s a work of fiction! Seldom does a book come along that as plausible. Watch the mini series “Hunting Hitler” you will understand how this fits in.

Great book but...
Fabulous story, kept me interested and on the edge of my seat. However, the editor should be sacked! This was the worst edited book I have ever read, either kindle or paper! Wrong words, terrible grammar and awful punctuation frustrated me and did at times make me put the book down. Pity.

Please reissue after editing.
The plot is very satisfying - 5 stars. Characters are believable - 3.5 stars. The whole book could do with some serious editing :- a mix of present and past tense on every page, some even within the same sentence; multiple times confusion between "too" and "to". Editing - 1 star. It almost seems as if spelling and grammar checking was done solely on the computer. An enjoyable read when one ignores the lack of editing.
