Nice as a stand, not meant to be rotated all that much
I'm going to start out with it's number one flaw, and that's the spin hinge. There's not enough resistance on it when I'm turning the monitor 90 degrees. This leads me to constantly adjust the monitor's rotation so it's level, as the monitor is slightly weighted on it's bottom than the top, making it always tilt back that way. A little shaking from the desk from typing and here we go again. You might think it's the monitor's fault for being bottom heavy, I disagree.I really wanted to like this monitor stand for it's vesa capability, height and tilt adjustable, and easy to set up stand, but here I'm at a loss trying to rotate the screen over and over againEdit: the loose rotation is unbearable. Without a monitor, I can move it rather easily. with a little push of a finger. And I feel like it's gotten looser since the time of my first review. The worst part is that there are several identical models and I can't even get the small part to replace it.

It works but you get what you pay for
I really want to like this stand. It does so much so well, but falls short on one major factor. But first, the good parts. The packaging is immaculate. I'm pretty sure this thing would survive a drop off the Empire State building. The parts are very well packaged, and the instructions were super easy to follow. It goes together quickly and the heavy-ish bottom plate seems to be well designed to keep monitors from going anywhere. It has a good range of vertical adjustment, an integrated cable holder, and full rotation (portrait) and tilt features. The VESA plate adapter thing slides on easily and is held in place very well. But now the bad part. The vertical tilt (up and down) knob is just... broken. The included allen wrench for tightening the bolt that keeps the monitor from flopping up and down is either too large, or the bolt itself was not made correctly. I can't insert the wrench into the bolt head enough to tighten it down very much, and as a result the monitor has almost no resistance to tilting down on its own and will slowly sink on its own.I suspect even if the bolt/wrench combo wasn't bad, it still wouldn't work very well. The top bolt that controls the vertical motion (that literally tightens the collar that holds the VESA plate to the post) behaves similarly. I've tightened it as far as I can, right up until I'm pretty sure it's about to break, and it *still* won't hold the monitor in position. It doesn't slide down on its own like the tilt part does, but it has zero resistance to any small tap causing it to sink down the post a bit.If the tightening bolts worked, this would easily be a 5-star product, especially at the price. Since they don't, it's a 3-star at best, and only if you have a smaller (24" or below) or lighter monitor, and price is more important than having it stay in place.

It's simple, it works, & its price makes for a good deal
I needed a stand for a 27" VIZIO TV that had been wall-mounted for a few years, & (?) the original stand must've got the toss long ago... It's hard to say...I found this stand on Amazon priced right, plus it had a coupon attached to the listing. I scrolled down & I saw a "newer model" of the same product was available, so I was initially hesitant. But, looking at the product pictures, reading the description, & scanning through some of the reviews, then the same with the "newer model" — the only difference I could see was mostly aesthetic (it also appears to have a desk mount included, which wouldn't have worked for me regardless of its purpose—either for conversion to a desk stand-off mount, or to further secure the stand....?)Eventually, I just thought "....it's a stand with a VESA mount; how do you **** that up...?" And I really couldn't think of anything...even if the VESA bracket was milled not to spec (it is milled to spec), I couldhave still made it work....(?) So, I made the purchase, received it, & 9-10 screws later, the TV had a stand. & I'm guessing a much more versatile stand than the original. The bracket that attaches the stand to the VESA mount can lower or raise the TV quite a bit. Even in it's highest position, it's still retains its sturdiness & remains stable. The baseplate has a decent amount of weight, and its overall design is well balanced to favor stability (to a tolerance; e.g., an old CRT monitor just isn't going to work). The stand is literally 4 basic pieces—the VESA bracket, an articulating bracket, a metal tube, & a metal baseplate. If you have a standard phillips screwdriver, then the stand is easy to assemble. If you have any experience with TV mounts, or TV stands, then it assembles in less than 15 minutes.Given what you get for the price, the ease of assembly, the added versatility, if you need a stand for a screen within the manufacturer's specific tolerances, then I would absolutely recommend this stand.

Heavy, Questionable Engineering, Frozen Hex Screw
This is a review of the "WALI Free Standing Single LCD Monitor Fully Adjustable Desk Mount Fits 1 Screen up to 32 inch"This is very heavy. Generally seems to be of good quality, but I ran into a big problem with the hex screws: On the adapter that connects the VESA mount to the shaft, there are 3 hex screws. 2 screws are the same size. Although 2 hex wrenches were included, neither fit the third hex screw. I had a set of hex wrenches and found the right size, but the hex screw was frozen and wouldn't budge. One of the other hex screws was hard to loosen, but I did it with a hex wrench and crescent wrench. The manufacturer shouldn't be over tightening the hex screws, since customers need to adjust the height and angle of he monitor. I'm returning this simply because I can't loosen one of the hex screws! Waste of time and money.
