(I prefer not wrapped, because the wrapping is an annoyance and a waste)** A: They are not individually wrapped. All 250 straws are placed together in a package. **Q: What is the diameter of the straw opening?** A: Had to measure it, they look standard like straws you'd see anywhere. 3/8 of an inch. **Q: Are these steong enough to use for cakes in place of dowels?** A: I purchased them some time ago but they're the same texture as any normal straws.
