I would buy it again!
Sturdy and well built. We filled ours with water only and it is so heavy we can't move it at all. Some high winds have popped up and the bad held. We added some patio tiles for good measure. We'll fill it with RV antifreeze this winter. So far, so good.

If you are looking for an umbrella that is high quality and sturdy this is it! Very easy to put together and operate. Perfect shade from the intense summer sun!

Comes with a funnel sand is separate and highly recommended
Happy with this purchase. We had a storm with 60mph winds and it held the large cantilever umbrella in place. (It was tucked in and under the cover) I used 4 bags of masonry sand and filled the remaining space with water. 100lbs of sand per container. Completely full each side is definitely a team lift.

Umbrella base works well
Base seems sturdy, should do the trick - I agree base is needed since 11" umbrella is heavy.

Quality product
Went together just as directed and has a smooth operation for opening and tilting the umbrella. The only hard part is filling the base with sand and water, time consuming.

Does the job well.
Does the job that they are advertised to do. Nice look and easy to setup. Downside is that they don’t connect to each other so they are easy to get knocked out of position.

Heavy duty. Easily filled with water - just make sure you know where you want it before you fill it!

Has held up umbrella on windy days
It comes with a foldable funnel to help get the sand inside. It's two separate pieces so you have to fill both. We get big gusts of wing being in Arizona, but we have never had our umbrella topple over with this base.
