Well priced and good picture.
Nice and compact, for the price it's a good little device. Am definitely happy with it .

Cheap and Cheerful
I received the item reasonably quickly. It is compact and easy to handle. It appears to be a simple IR extended CMOS image chip and operates OK with the illuminator. It needs 5 AA batteries which increases the weight from 184g to 682g. It has a voltage monitor which will switch off the circuitry if the battery voltage goes below a certain level. Hence rechargeable batteries will most likely not work as they start at 1.2V as opposed to 1.5V. The plastic case is cheap and very easy to break. It is more of a toy than a real night vision. But there again my other ones cost more than ten times more and are much bigger. But overall it is small, cheap and cheerful, I should be able to find a good use for it.

Great kit for the price.
Much better than you think.OK, this is never going to be military grade night vision but what you get for the money is really good.I use mine on clear evenings, pointed at the sky and just record. Looking at the footage, once you get your eye into it, it's incredible at how many satellites pass over head and shooting stars. The focus is manual, it records audio and also records normal light video. Also stills can be captured. For the low buck, you get a great bang.

Not bad but not great either.
After trying this R7 Night Vision. I found it easy to use. not much settings to change. If I was to rate it out of 10. I would rate it 7.1. Size was small and felt like a toy.2. The display screen was very small and not good for my eyes.3. The battery didnt last long. As the IR light drained the battery fast. Those was the reason I gave the rating of 7/10. I probably find more reasons. Im gona order the binocular version as I it has a bigger screen. For what it is. its not a bad Night vision monocular. Ideal for starters for young explorers. Value you for money. However as the saying goes Buy cheap buy twice. Im not giving it the best review and not the wirse review. Probably good for kids more. But you pay for what you get these days.

Shockingly good Night vision, but..
So the night vision works and it works well, but, these are not nods, do not mount them on a helmet for continuous use as the digital camera sways a lot , it is not stable , this is scouting tech not assault tech, also as mentioned the window is small and you have to hold it a bit away from you to use it otherwise its blurry, my main gripe preventing this from being 4 stars is that the lens is too zoomed at 1X, I have an upcoming airsoft night event where I will use the camera and we’ll see if its value for money, if not I shall be returning it.

Get what you pay for
Worked ok. As in did let you see in the dark although I had to hold it at arms length for the screen to be infocus. So couldn’t actually make anything out. Bringing it closer put it out of focus

Good bit of kit for the money
I seriously wasn't expecting much for the money but i was very surprised by what this little monocular can achieve. Please be realistic when ordering this as there is a massive difference between this , professional kit, any action cams that can operate in low light , outdoor weather conditions or more expensive night vision monoculars . That said this monocular is no slouch , If your on a budget or a first time user of night vision kit this certainly has a lot going for it. It is compact , light weight has simple to use interface that is fairly easy to use. Comes with protective bag for the monocular, hand strap to keep secured on your hand, usb data lead , rechargeable battery, cleaning cloth, micro sd adapter that connects to your device via usb. Micro sd card not included. I used a san disk 32GB as that is sufficient for my usage as was bought to view some hedgehogs that are in our garden. The monocular has a 5x digital zoom, tripod screw thread on the bottom day, night vision. The pictures are a little grainy with some digital noise but some decent photo editing should cure the majority of it.

You get what you pay for
The media could not be loaded. At only 45 quid it gets the job done, and is good if you want to be scouting out areas. However, it doesn't perform very well if you use it while moving, and if you're using it in airsoft it's only really going to be good if you're planning on staying still and scouting out the area - if the light from the screen doesn't give you away that is! My video shows an unboxing, using it while it's dark and my thoughts on the product.
