I bought these to keep the rain cover on my outdoor dining set. Since I started using this product, the cover has never blown off when it’s windy. They work perfectly. My only complaint is that the orange plastic end comes off more easily than I’d like it to. Fortunately, it snaps back on just as easily. Good product. Fair price. I recommend it.

Just what was needed.

Get four inches of clamping two 2"x4" on top of each other. Made of hard plastic but Steel Spring inside doing the work. Spring is thick Steel & will clamp shut tightly. Two Softer Pads that self adjust to surface of material being clamped. These work for big & small Clamp Jobs. Glad I got them!

You need to be pretty strong to open these with one hand. If you're a dainty female with small hands or an elder male with arthritic hands, you'll probably need help or need to use both hands to open it and find some temporary way to fix the thing you want to clamp while you get this thing attached.

Nice product. The ONLY complaint is that the orange plastic tips are easily knocked off when removing the clamps from an object. This does not affect the functionality of the clamps it is merely an annoyance as you frequently must reattach them or they can easily be lost.
