Why are new $1 hotwheels being sold for over $5?

All hotwheels are on the shelf for just a few months, and then they are unavailable, so this causes the prices to rise on the hard to find hotwheels. Also, like others have said, if I pay $1.00 or $1.25 for a hotwheel car, and list it on Amazon, I have to make something for my time, I have to pay for shipping, Amazon charges me a fee for selling on Amazon--there is expense involved.
