One for my wife and one for myself. I sleep Hot and I've got to have the extra airflow to help cool me down. Both fans have proved to be very reliable. Only recently has mine started making a bearing noise, (tick, tick, tick). But, if I tap on the top of the unit, it quiets down - for a minute. In the fans defense, I use mine almost 24 hours a day, seriously. I'm disabled and spend lots of time in the bedroom. I've put this thing through its paces, for sure.DRAWBACKS: Cleaning. There's No way to open it up, getting to the blades, to clean them. If there was, I'm sure this mighty little fan would still be humming along. To Semi-Clean it, buy yourself a can of Compressed Air and blast it once in a while. But, take it outside first, as dirt and dust "Will Fly".Today, I'm buying another one, same style. It's quiet, when newer and no bearing wear. It's powerful enough to blow across my head, (my hot spot), chest and down to my waist. I'm 6' 2" tall. So, it blows a good stream of air, (On HIGH Speed), about 4 to 5 feet away. After that it diminishes pretty fast. Of course, the cleaner the blades, the farther it pushes air. But, that's this fans only negative. . . NO CLEANING ABILITY. I'm going to take my old one into the garage as soon as my new one arrives and see how I can dismantle it, carefully, so I can put this baby back in operation? Hey VORNADO, are you listening? Screw in the front plate, Stop gluing them.P. S. I've got a used, dirty, white noise making, bearing clanking, still functional, (may be missing the front security grill?), Personal Use Vornado for sale. Because it's got so much personality, I'm only asking $13.69 + shipping.Any takers? J. K.Buy a new one and relax.Darrell in Livermore, Ca. **Q: Is this battery-operated?, or does it plug in to wall outlet?** A: It plugs into a wall outlet. **Q: How hard does the fan blow? I expect to be about 1.5 feet to 2 feet away from it at my work desk.** A: I don't know what other people are thinking. Maybe the one I just bought is defective, but it blows almost no air and is very loud. You can barely feel any wind a 1 to 2 feet away from this fan. **Q: How many watts does it use on high or low levels?** A: I have a tester that shows only 13-14 watts on low. I think it might be double that on high. I'm impressed, for how powerful it is! 'm impressed by ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Artikel entspricht nicht der Beschreibung *by D***F on 21 February 2025* Der Ventilator wurde mit Batterien Betrieb beschrieben, kam aber mit 110 Volt Kabel Betrieb an !
