Doesnt slow when pressure applied
This is a wonderful intro to pottery wheels! I got it for our 10 year who was FOR CERTAIN he wanted to be a potter.... it was nice that wheb force was applied, the wheel didn't slow or stop completely. It's exactly what we were looking for.

Pretty ok
My daughter enjoyed it but centering the ball of clay was very challenging bc the motor shuts off with too much pressure. I debated about getting her a professional beginners wheel instead of a kids one but we went with this and I sort of regret it. I think if she had an easier time centering with a heftier tool she would know better whether she likes it or not. But I do know it’s a child’s toy and definitely she got some enjoyment out of it:)

Great quality “toy” pottery wheel
Great quality “toy” pottery wheel. Motor does slow or stop with too much pressure on the clay. But we are learning and throwing some decent little first projects.

Not worth buying
Way overpriced. It’s not kid friendly and very cheaply made. My kids just wanted to mold by hand because the machine was just not working or fun for them.
