Philips Stellar Bright Rechargeable Emergency Inverter LED Bulb, B22 8.5-Watt-Crystal White(Pack of 4) ₹799 Purchase : May 2025 (Review on July 2025) Lightweight (not very heavy compared to ordinary 9W LED bulbs) Brighness is sufficient when power is there (equivalent to a 9W LED bulb), but when power is cut the perceived brightness reduces to around 50% - 60%. It is still bright enough to be useful (maybe not sufficient in very big rooms where an ordinary 9W is barely enough) Works for more than 2 hours in battery, it seems (didn't check it in a controlled environment, but in real life environment it seems to be adequate). Seems like the quality is good. All 4 bulbs were working. Though cannot comment on the life as it is only being used for the past 1.5months. Will try to update review when any of the bulbs fail. The only con which has been faced is that, It will not turn ON if there is power in any of the other phases, even though the phase the bulb is connected to has no power. (eg In a 3 phase AC power (RBY), let the bulb be connected to R, and there is NO POWER in R and B, but 'Y' HAS power, then the bulb will not light up.)

I don't know if it happened with only me or tge functioning is like that. The bulb's good and during power cut it works exceptionally well enough light is supplied. But the problem is that the bulb is working everytime when the power switch is on and electricity is on it works and when the power switch is off and the electricity is on it off's for a minute and on again to work in batter mode it won't stop untill the battery is over. Maybe this type of functioning will stop after 8 hrs of continuous charging but it's really a problem if it may not be charged for 8 hrs check out before buy.

Phillips quality at an excellent price. Really good to have around the house as it gives us light during short power outages.
