Individually wrapped matte black hinges. Used these squeaky steel hinges. Doors are whisper quiet now. Very pleased with this product.

The new hinges match the dimensions of the gold builder hinges exactly, which makes changing them out an easy task. The hinges have a sturdy feel and a solid finish. The matte black is popular and they match perfectly with the matte black Schlage door latch sets I installed as part of the upgrade project. Even with good hinges, door fit complications can arise. Be sure to change them out one hinge at a time to minimize door alignment issues. There are plenty of YouTube instructional videos on how to fix alignment problems. Also, use a a box cutter to clean up globs of caulk that inevitably accumulate on the door frame near the top and bottom of the hinges for a clean look. It’s also a great time to repaint your door casings before changing to the new hinges. Best of luck!

Worked for me replacing some Lawrence Hardware hinges in shiny brass. They fit the standard size and shape mortises used by my old hinges.These have removable pins which is a nice feature and are intended for full mortise doors so both the stile and the jamb are mortised down so that this metal then sits flush. You can buy fancier hinges and I probably would for a wetter environment like a bathroom. But I'm very happy with these. Hand tightened the screws and they stayed nice and black without marring and destroying the black coating.Took some measurements on one hinge plate is 2.5 mm thick and this one weighed ~160 g

I like the finish on these hinges better than Amazon Basics and Everbilt. Also the pin comes out easily. They are a little more money than others but I feel worth the extra. Amazon Basics were nice as well but I like the finish better on the Sorgmach.
