Fox Medical Equipment Toenail Clippers for Seniors & Thick Nails, Soft Grip

I don’t usually leave reviews but I would give this product 10 stars if I could. Now that I’m getting older, I don’t hold things as well. I am not as flexible as I once was either. These clippers were super easy to hold onto and maneuver. They are well made and super sharp so I was able to get through my thick toenails. I had tried everything before I got these clippers. I liked them so much that I bought 2 more. If you have a hard time cutting your toenails or the calluses on your feet these clippers will not disappoint you. Truly the best clippers I have ever had

Absolutely excellent clippers, very sharp. Cuts better than a German brand we've liked for years. Grip is comfortable and secure. Cuts cleanly with precise control. We set aside our concern it is made overseas--of course, to keep costs affordable like many companies-- because this small, U.S. company is very responsible and takes great care in making these clippers. We are happy to support them. We will be ordering a spare pair.

I ordered these primarily because it said it would work on thick nails and the blades were curved to cut in a way that made your nails look nice. You know I have seen medical grade and professional quality all the time advertised on some products listed. Then you get the product and go what a joke as far as that claim goes. But honestly the first thing I said when I opened my package is wow this looks like something a doctor would have. I had to rethink a second and say what did I order. They are heavy stainless steel with nice rubber grips and they are very big. I have a picture of it my hand and you can clearly see what I mean. The next day I said lets see how they work. Now my toenails are thick and I use these HUGE toenail clippers to get them. But as much as I try to cut them and try to make them look nice, they end up with a square shape on top. And my pinky toe kinda grows like a an upside down U. Even those huge toenail clippers could not get them. A few times I tried so long I ended up by accident removing the whole nail. OWW ! So obviously that was the first place I went to test. Honestly the first snap was perfect. I said wow these are so awesome. I should of got these a long time ago. I did the rest of my toes and I absolutely loved how the curved my toenail on top. Now when you look at my picture you might say it does not look too curved to me but that's because last week I butchered them with my big nail clippers I had. And that's what made me so fed up I ordered these ! With these In less than a month I will have beautiful shaped nails. They are so nice and sharp too. I was able to get under the nail bed a bit and clean them as well. I was also able to clip the nail sides too. Even on my biggest nail that is very thick it was so simple with no effort ! Gosh I wish I had found these a long time ago! If you read my reviews I am some what critical on products but really this is not a 5 star item it is a 10 star ! Great big toe clippers, not just for ingrown toenails! These clippers are sharp and very ergonomical. I bought these cos regular clippers were hard to use on my big toenails. These have a contoured blade tip for reaching corners better. If you have thick nails (and even if you don’t) you should always soak your feet and nails in warm water before attempting to trim your toenails. These clippers are easy to grip and have a metal prop between the handles to make the clippers open and close easily with each squeeze. This is much easier to use than small clippers because the size of the handles allow you to grip and squeeze easier. You’ll never want to use regular clippers on your big toes again. I still use regular clippers on my small toes but I could use these too. The quality of the steel and rubber handles feel very good for the price. I saw plenty of look alikes on here but I’m glad I paid a little more for a pair of clippers that feel sturdy. Great buy and would make a great gift!

By far, the sharpest pair of toenail clippers I've ever purchased. The leverage is really nice - capable of cutting pretty thick, tough toenails. The price was very reasonable also, compared to the prices one sees for similar clippers I've seen at drug stores/chain pharmacies. The size is perfect and the operation very smooth with the roller cylinder on the pivot of the spring arm. I've only used them once since I received them. As I've gotten older, my large toe nails have gotten thicker and a quality sharp pair of clippers is quite necessary for me. I also purchased here on Amazon, also from Fox Medical Equipment a nice set of surgical grade, stainless steel, fingernail and a slightly larger size of toenail cutters. I've been buying Revlon manicure/pedicure products all my adult life, but decided that at my age, I deserved some really quality mani/pedi instruments. I also separately bought a nice zippered leather pouch from Leatherology to hold all these new tools. My wife has always had her own mani/pedi tools that I borrowed so often that a couple of them began staying in my bathroom all the time. Now I'm building up my own set. Some fine instruments so far. I've also recently purchased a very sharp, quality pair of cuticle cutters/nippers for my new collection from Suvorna.
