My daughter is about the same size and she wears a med.in the Gildan brand. She doesn’t like tight either.

Q: what size does the small size fit?

I’m 5’7 athletic and 150. My husband is stocky but shorter. He likes the xl but washes it hot to shrink just a bit. I love his larges cause they're comfy but it doesn’t look overly sloppy big on me.
