MowerPartsGroup 23 x 10.5-12, 4-Ply Lawn Tractor Tire

I bought these tires to replace the worn "Turf Tires" on my riding mower. I was tired of the mower getting hung up on uneven ground and the traction tire just spinning on the grass, and they leaked constantly requiring air at every use. The original tires on the mower were 22 x 9.5 - 12's, these tires are 1 inch wider in diameter and width, but there is plenty of clearance in the wheel well for this tire.I tried to mount these tires by myself but these tires have a very stiff sidewall, as well as having 4 plys. I ended up going to the local tire store and they charged $10 apiece to mount them. A bargain as far as I was concerned.I am very pleased with these tires and even with shipping they were a bargain.With these tires my riding mower is better than when it was new, the traction is much better, I no longer get stuck on the uneven spots and I maintain my speed going uphill. The ride is not quite as smooth but it is not bad, and the tires do not leave the tread / lug marks in the lawn. I believe that the reason why the tires do not leave any marks in the turf is that the lugs have a soft shoulder where they transition to the side wall.With the larger diameter tire the mower has even picked up a bit more top speed. Be aware that this will put some extra stress on the hydrostatic rear axle, however i did some research and the axle on my mower is also used on mowers that come with 23 inch tires. So I am not too worried.Overall these are very well made tires, they are comparable to the tires on my tractor and I expect them to last a long time. I have about 15 hours of run time on these tires and they still look new with the paint marking still on the tread. Also the tires have not leaked since I had them mounted over 2 months ago so the bead seated well to the rims. I will try to post some pictures of these tires on the mower.Overstockwheels packaged these tires well and shipment was quick via UPS. I had no issues with the order so I did not have to contact them. If I ever need any more tires I will do business with them again, and I recommend them and the tires to everyone.

Work Great!! I put them on a 1999 Toro / Wheelhorse 520Xi Garden Tractor. I Used them all winter and never had to put on the chains. I plowed over 8" at a time, no slipping. Great tires, great deal.Just took them out for a mow and they work great. Some hills where I used to slip I climb like a mountain goat.Very pleased!

I put a new set of these on my Wright Z zero-turn because it is very heavy and gets stuck in wet grass. However it does tend to tear up the lawn a bit more that the smooth lawn tires. So now I keep a set of each and if I have to mow after a rain I switch them out.

These tires are about right for the uneven ground we have. We have hills and two pond levees and, turf tires were not good for the job so, these tires hold on well and, with the curved edges do not tear up the yard but still allow good, stable footing for the mower when you need it most.

These tires made all the difference in the world on my Sears garden tractor. It never gets stuck in sand or mud. I use implements on the rear of my tractor to maintain horse paddocks and the tires keep the tractor moving with little or no spin.

Put these on a John deere 345, very nice tires, tread is not too tall, and tapers toward the outside of tires for a comfortable ride, great traction! Mounted them myself , came in a box, not strapped and distorted..shipping was a little steep but best deal I could find

Don't waste your time with turf tires, they spin and tear up your yard on zero turns. I've read the comments before and wasn't sure if I believed them. I do now.
